Adakan ISC, KSR PMI UMI Mendapat Apresiasi dari WR III
Makassar, Cakrawalaide.com – Hadiri pembukaan kegiatan Individual Skill Challenge (ISC) yang diadakan oleh Korps Suka Rela (KSR) Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI) Universitas Muslim Indonesia (UMI), WR III, Prof Laode Husein memberikan apresiasi. Menurutnya, KSR UMI merupakan salah satu Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM) yang paling aktif diantara 20 UKM lainnya yang ada di UMI.
“Alhamdulillah, di UMI ini terdapat 20 UKM yang aktif, atau yang terdaftar. Dan yang paling super aktif salah satunya KSR PMI UMI,” ungkapnya saat memberikan sambutan di Auditorium Al Jibra kampus II UMI, Rabu (21/08/2019).
Ia juga menambahkan, akan berupaya bersama-sama KSR UMI untuk terus mengembangkan potensi-potensi yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa.
“InsyaAllah kita akan bersama-sama dengan KSR PMI UMI dalam rangka mengaktifkan kegiatan untuk mengembangkan potensi yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa,” tambahnya.
Di satu sisi, ia juga menyadari bahwa bantuan dana yang diberikan oleh kampus untuk kegiatan tersebut masih sangat minim.
“Kegiatan ISC ini benar-benar kegiatan bagian dari soft skill yang dikembangkan oleh mahasiswa, meskipun anggaran yang diberikan kampus masih relatif minim,” ungkap Guru Besar Hukum tersebut.
Kegiatan Individual Skill Challenge ini merupakan salah satu kegiatan lanjutan dari kegiatan yang pernah dilakukan pada dua tahun lalu.
Setidaknya ada dua tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam kegiatan ISC ini. Pertama, meningkatkan kemampuan, baik teori maupun praktek (kompetensi) mengenai pertolongan pertama dengan konsentrasi materi CPR, Patient Assessment and Road Accident Rescue Training – Operation Level. Kedua, mempromosikan pencegahan cidera, melalui edukasi dan kesiap siagaan bagi semua tim dengan memperkenalkan serta membangun konsep tingkat Nasional dan Internasional
