Alarm Tolak Penggusuran Kecam Perusakan Taman Patung Kuda dan Upaya Penggusuran Diduga oleh BPCB Sulsel

Makassar, Cakrawalaide.com – Aliansi Rakyat dan Mahasiswa (Alarm) Tolak Penggusuran mengecam tindakan pembabatan tanaman, di Taman Patung Kuda depan sisi kiri Benteng Rotterdam diduga oleh Balai Pelestarian Cagar Budaya (BPCB) Sulsel sejak Kamis (02/01) lalu hingga Kamis (09/01), hal ini disampaikan saat Konferensi Pers (Konpers), di kediaman Aliamin, Jl. Ujung Pandang, Jumat (10/01/2020).
Menurut Alarm Tolak Penggusuran, selain pembabatan taman yang sudah dikelola dan dirawat oleh Aliamin selama 24 tahun tanpa diberi upah, pihak BPCB juga berupaya untuk menggusur tempat tinggal Aliamin, padahal keberadaannya bukanlah perbuatan melawan hukum.
“Keberadaan bapak Aliamin dikarenakan tidak adanya pihak yang berani mengemban tanggung jawab merawat tanaman tersebut. Bahkan pihak dari pemerintah saja memberikan tugas tersebut kepada bapak Aliamin yang siap mendedikasikan hidupnya untuk merawat salah satu cagar budaya yang merupakan salah satu destinasi menarik di Benteng Rotterdam,” ujar Mukhtar Guntur dari perwakilan Konfederasi Serikat Nusantara (KSN).
Pembabatan yang dilakukan oleh pihak BPCB menurut pendamping hukum Aliamin merupakan pelanggaran hukum dan HAM.
“Secara hukum, Aliamin lah yang memiliki tanaman dan pohon atas mandat GAPENSI yang telah dibabat oleh BPCB,” terang Haidir selaku kuasa hukum Aliamin mewakili LBH Makassar.
“Cagar budaya sama sekali tidak memiliki hak untuk menebang pohon-pohon itu,” lanjutnya.
Selain itu, BPCB dinilai telah melanggar kesepakatan RDP di DPRD Provinsi Sulsel pada 25 Maret 2019 lalu.
“Hasil RDP itu, anggota DPR menyarankan untuk mencari penyelesaian masalah secara kekeluargaan antara Aliamin dan Balai Pelestarian Cagar Budaya,” tutur Arul selaku mahasiswa yang turut bersolidaritas untuk Aliamin.
Diakhir konpers, Alarm Tolak Penggusuran menuntut Kepala BPCB agar bertanggungjawab atas tindakan pengrusakan taman dan menuntut pihak DPRD Provinsi Sulsel segera melakukan RDP ulang atas ingkar Kepala Balai dari hasil RDP sebelumnya serta Aparat Keamanan untuk memberikan perlindungan rasa aman kepada Aliamin dan keluarganya.
“Kami dari Aliansi Rakyat dan Mahasiswa Tolak Penggusuran akan selalu mengawal kasus Aliamin hingga terjadi kesepakatan antara kedua belah pihak. Kami mengajak kepada seluruh komponen masyarakat untuk bersolidaritas melawan penggusuran dalam bentuk apapun,” pungkas Arul sekaligus menutup konpers.
