Aliansi Mahasiswa UMI kembali melakukan Aksi Penolakan Kenaikan BBM

Makassar, Cakrawalaide.com – Mahasiswa Universitas Muslim Indonesia (UMI) yang tergabung dalam Aliansi Mahasiswa Universitas Muslim Indonesia (AMU) kembali unjuk rasa, buntut dari kenaikan Bahan Bakar Minyak (BBM) yang di tetapkan pada awal September, di depan gedung Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) Kota Makassar, Sulawesi Selatan, Jumat (07/09/2022).
Andi selaku humas Aliansi Mahasiswa UMI menerangkan bahwa aksi demonstrasi yang dilakukan merupakan respon dari kebijakan pemerintah terkait kenaikan BBM, menyebabkan kesenjangan ekonomi masyarakat kelas bawah. Sebanyak 20 persen subsidi BBM justru dinikmati oleh masyarakat dengan perekonomian kelas atas.
“Aksi ini dilakukan bagaimana merespon kebijakan yang dikeluarkan oleh pemerintah dengan kenaikan bbm ini, dapat menambah ketimpangan antara kaum kaya dan kaum rendah ataupun miskin adanya 20 persen dari masyarakat kalangan atas yang menikmati subsidi BBM,” ucapnya.
Sejalan dengan Andi, Bang Bello selaku Koordinator Lapangan (Korlap) juga menegaskan bahwa isu yang diangkat pada aksi kali ini terkait kenaikan harga BBM, yang dimana kenaikan BBM ini akan berdampak pada kenaikan harga bahan-bahan pokok lainnya.
“Isu-isu yang kita angkat di sini tidak lain dan tidak bukan itu terkait kenaikan harga bbm kan dan dampak dari kenaikan harga bbm itu pasti berdampak kepada bahan-bahan pokok yg lain pasti toh, aaah itu poin nya disitu, dan ini kita akan tetap turun ke jalan sampai pemerintah menurunkan harga BBM itu,” tegasnya.
Lebih lanjut, Ali Munabir selaku salah satu massa aksi dari berharap aspirasi mahasiswa dapat mewakili suara rakyat khususnya pada kenaikan BBM.
“Kalau saya harapanku mungkin mau mewakili masyarakat juga, Masyarakat yang ada di luar sana terkait penurunan harga BBM yang memang sangat berdampak untuk masyarakat apa lagi masyarakat kebawah,” harapnya.
Mengenai aksi penolakan kenaikan harga BBM menurut massa aksi, akan terus dilanjutkan sampai pemerintah mendengar aspirasi masyarakat serta menurunkan harga BBM.
