Aliansi Mahasiswa UMI Serukan Tolak RUU Omnibus Law Cipta Kerja

Makassar, Cakrawalaide.com – Ratusan massa aksi serukan penolakan terhadap Rancangan Undang-Undang Cipta Kerja, mereka menamakan diri Aliansi Mahasiswa Universitas Muslim Indonesia (UMI). Unjuk rasa ini berlangsung tepat di depan kampus II UMI, Jl.Urip Sumoharjo, Senin (2/3/2020).
RUU Cipta Kerja disusun pemerintah dengan konsep Omnibus Law atau disebut juga Undang-Undang Sapu Jagat. Di dalamnya menyelaraskan 82 Undang-Undang dan 1.194 pasal, yang pada isinya memangkas dan meringkas banyak pasal.
Produk hukum ini disinyalir tidak memberi perlindungan bagi buruh karena berbagai hak buruh seperti uang pesangon, cuti haid, dan jaminan sosial akan dihapus. Selain itu, dihapusnya batasan masa kontrak juga mengindikasikan hilangnya kepastian kerja bagi para buruh. Sementara itu, penciptaan pasar tenaga kerja yang semakin fleksibel dan sanksi pidana bagi para pengusaha juga turut dihilangkan dalam UU ini.
Lebih lanjut, dalam RUU Cipta Kerja juga memuat penghapusan analisis dampak lingkungan (AMDAL) yang selama ini menjadi jaring pengaman dari dampak kegiatan usaha yang bersifat destruktif bagi lingkungan hidup.
Ipul selaku jendral lapangan (Jendlap) aksi Aliansi Mahasiswa UMI menjelaskan bahwa RUU ini sangat berdampak buruk bagi rakyat. “Kami menilai RUU Omnibus Law Cipta kerja ini ketika disahkan nantinya akan sangat merugikan bagi rakyat Indonesia dan hanya menguntungkan para pemodal,” jelasnya.
“Yang paling berdampak adalah para pekerja karena akan kehilangan kepastian kerja, cuti, pesangon dan juga akan terjadi banyak kerusakan lingkungan,” tambahnya saat kami wawancarai.
Sementara itu, Syahrul sebagai Humas aksi juga memaparkan terkait dampak RUU Cipta Kerja di sektor pendidikan, seperti penghapusan beberapa pasal pada UU SISDIKNAS yang berdampak langsung pada proses pendidikan nasional.
“Selain berdampak pada lingkungan dan buruh, RUU cipta kerja juga merevisi beberapa pasal dalam UU Sistem Pendidikan Nasional seperti penghapusan pasal tentang pidana pemalsuan ijazah,” terangnya.
Lebih lanjut, ia juga menerangkan bahwa dengan merevisi UU SISDIKNAS justru berkebalikan dengan tujuannya menciptakan tenaga kerja yang berkualitas.
“Sangat aneh jika RUU ini malah merevisi pasal 67, 68, 69, dan 71 Undang-Undang SISDIKNAS yang akan memudahkan terjadinya pemalsuan ijazah yang artinya bahwa kualitas pendidikan di kesampingkan demi kebutuhan pasar tenaga kerja,” tutupnya.
