Demi Kemanusiaan, FKIP Unismuh Siap Salurkan Sembako untuk Mahasiswa Imbas Covid-19

Makassar, Cakrawalaide.com – Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (FKIP) Universitas Muhammadiyah (Unismuh) melalui Tim Satgasnya menyiapkan sembako untuk disalurkan ke mahasiswa guna menanggulangi dampak akibat pandemi Covid-19 bagi yang masih berada di Kota Makassar.
Tim Satgas peduli bencana yang beranggotakan dosen, pimpinan fakultas, dan staf FKIP, juga akan mengikutkan mahasiswa nantinya sebagai relawan.
“Alasan kami ini murni urusan kemanusiaan dalam melihat pandemi yang terjadi. Jadi, untuk tahap pertama terdapat sekitar 503 mahasiswa yang masih berada di wilayah Makassar akan mendapatkan sembako yang akan disalurkan mulai Senin pekan depan,” ujar Dekan FKIP Unismuh, Erwin Akib. Jum’at, (10/04).
Erwin menambahkan, saat ini Tim Satgas sementara mendata secara valid seluruh mahasiswa yang telah masuk database. Hal ini guna memastikan bantuan tersalurkan secara tepat sasaran.
“Target kami agar bantuan ini tepat sasaran, tidak asal beri apalagi hanya untuk pencitraan. Untuk tahap pertama bagi mahasiswa kami yang tinggal indekost. Kami memprioritaskan mahasiswa yang indekost dan tidak pulang kampung,” tegasnya.

Dalam keseriusan menangani dampak wabah yang terjadi, pihak FKIP Unismuh menyarankan agar mahasiswa yang merasa belum terdata agar segera menghubungi pihak fakultas dalam hal ini Ketua Prodi masing-masing. “Untuk mengantisipasi, maka mahasiswa yang belum terdata cepat melapor agar segera didata,” imbaunya.
Saat ini, Makassar dinyatakan sebagai red zone (zona merah) Covid-19. Tim Satgas FKIP Unismuh pun telah menyalurkan masker sebanyak 2000 dan ditargetkan penyaluran sampai 5000 masker. Selain itu, FKIP Unismuh juga telah memesan APD yang akan diberikan kedepannya bagi petugas kesehatan.
Sementara itu, menurut Mahmud Nunung, selaku Humas Unismuh, mengatakan bahwa semua fakultas turut melaksanakan kegiatan pendistribusian sembako terhadap mahasiswanya yang masih berada di kota Makassar. Dalam hal ini, FKIP Unismuh khususnya memaksimalkan peran dalam melayani mahasiswa selama menjalani masa belajar di rumah.
“Semua pihak fakultas tentu mempunyai peran sendiri dalam menghadapi pandemi ini. Kita hanya bisa mengajak untuk berdoa bersama agar bencana wabah Covid-19 ini bisa cepat hilang,” tuturnya.
Berharap agar kegiatan kemanusiaan ini bisa berjalan dengan baik dan mampu menjadi contoh, Dekan FKIP pun menambahkan, “Tanpa ada perintah pun kami memang sejak dulu melakukan kegiatan kemanusiaan. Kami di FKIP berjalan untuk kemanusiaan dan murni untuk kemanusiaan,” tutupnya.
