Makassar, Cakrawalaide.com -Telah beredar dua surat penyampaian yang ditujukan kepada seluruh civitas academika Universitas Muslim Indonesia nomor 3456/F.01/UMI/X/2023 yang berisi himbauan untuk seluruh kegiatan di kampus diliburkan sampai dengan waktu yang belum ditentukan, kemudian beredar surat lain dengan nomor 3457/F.01/UMI/X/2023 yang sebaliknya menyampaikan bahwa kegiatan akademik akan tetap berlangsung seperti biasa pada selasa (10/10/2023).

Awak Cakrawala telah mencoba menyambangi kantor Rektorat Universitas Muslim Indonesia, namun akses menuju gedung yang berada di seberang jalan kampus II Universitas Muslim Indonesia tersebut ditutup dan dijaga beberapa orang.

Menjelang malam, satuan pengamanan kampus telah memasang spanduk bertuliskan : ‘KAMPUS LIBUR MULAI 11 oktober 2023 SAMPAI BATAS YANG TIDAK DITENTUKAN’ di pagar pintu satu Umi

Menurut keterangan Raksado Dharma Kencana, selaku kordinator keamanan, tidak akan ada kegiatan di Universitas Muslim Indonesia sebab gerbang masuk akan ditutup.

“Perintah dari Pak Basri Modding, sementara yang masih menjabat sebagai Rektor, besok kampus libur dan seluruh gerbang ditutup dan dirantai jadi aktivitas didalam kampus baik mahasiswa maupun pegawai diliburkan sampai waktu yang ditentukan,” ujarnya.

Menanggapi hal tersebut, Lia selaku salah satu mahasiswa UMI yang membagi keresahannya bersama awak Cakrawala mengaku kebingungan dengan dua surat edaran yang ditanda tanggani oleh Rektor UMI, karena terdapat dua nama berbeda yang mengatasnamakan Rektor UMI dan menyampaikan dua informasi yang bertentangan pada hari yang sama (10/10).

“Tiba-tiba ada satu rujukan surat baru, yang keluar bertanda tangankan rektor ini, tapi dengan nama yang sama rektor yang baru dilantik, bahwa kita ngak libur jadi, seolah-olah ini dia ini menjawab surat yang sebelumnya yang mengatakan kita libur, dia bilang bahwa tidak libur bertanda tangan rektor umi dengan nama yang berbeda,” pungkasnya.

Lebih lanjut Lia merasa dirugikan sebab, permasalahan yang terjadi di kegiatan belajar mahasiswa di universitas diliburkan.
“Jadi sebagai mahasiswa saya ini merasa di korbankan gitu karna, ada yang tidak beres di birokrasi akhirnya kita diliburkan.”

Lia menyayangkan perseteruan yang terjadi dikalangan pengasuh universitas di kampusnya, sebab menggagu proses perkuliahan mahasiswa.

“Saya merasa pada akhirnya peperangan atau dualisme ini malah merugikan mahasiswa, padahalkan sebenarnya hak kita belajar, kalau birokrasi di atas tidak selesai, ada banyak masalah, yah monggo kalian selesaikan kita (mahasiswa) jangan diganggu, jangan bawa-bawa kami dalam masalahmu,” ungkap Lia, seorang mahasiswa baru.
