Makassar, Cakrawalaide.com – Es Teh Alliance merayakan International Women’s Day (IWD) yang jatuh setiap tanggal 8 Maret dengan membuat Festival Seni bertema “Nyalakan Tanda Bahaya – Patriarchy Is For Real”. Festival seni tersebut digelar di Musses Coffe, Jl. Balaikota no.11, Minggu (14/03/21)
Goza selaku panitia kegiatan menuturkan peringatan IWD diselenggarakan dalam bentuk festival sebagai bentuk inovasi untuk menyampaikan pesan terkait isu kekerasan seksual melalui pertunjukan seni.
“Melihat kondisi dari masyarakat kita yang belakangan ini sangat tertarik dengan kegiatan -kegiatan yang berhubungan dengan seni,” tuturnya.
Lebih lanjut, Goza mengatakan kegiatan ini dilaksanakan untuk memberikan ruang kepada semua orang terkhusus perempuan untuk mengeluarkan keluh kesahnya serta sebagai hegemoni agar ikut bergabung dalam menyuarakan isu terkait kekerasan seksual. Melihat banyaknya kasus kekerasan dan pelecehan seksual yang terjadi hanya dilihat sebagai permasalahan individu bukan permasalahan bersama.
“Tujuannya sederhana yaitu menunjukkan kepada orang-orang bahwa kekersan seksual sangat urgen untuk diselesaikan karena masih maraknya kasus yang terbengkalai sehingga menimbulkan masalah psikologi bagi para penyintas,” tukasnya.
“Kedepanya pihak dari Es Teh Alliance akan terus merangkul kawan-kawan supaya terlibat dalam pembahasan SOP tentang pencegahan dan penanggulangan kasus kekerasan seksual di kampus,” tambahnya.
Ia juga mengungkapkan pelaksanaan festival peringatan IWD Sul-Sel ini sempat tertunda karena terkendala perizinan
“Festival Sempat tertunda karena masalah perizinan tempat oleh pihak museum itulah sebabnya kegiatan ini baru bisa terlaksana pada sore ini” ungkapnya.
Es Teh Alliance sendiri merupakan gabungan dari beberapa organ kampus di Makassar yaitu: Universitas Muslim Indonesia (UMI), Universitas Hasanudin (UNHAS), Universitas Islam Negeri Makassar (UIN), Universitas Negeri Makassar (UNM) yang akan fokus mengkampanyekan dan mengawal isu-isu kekerasan seksual serta mendorong adanya Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) Penanganan Kasus Kekerasan Seksual khususnya di ranah pendidikan.
Sasa selaku peserta festival mengungkapkan sangat respek apabila kemudian benar yang dikatakan oleh panitia terkait SOP. Setidaknya ada langkah taktis untuk menangani masalah kekerasan seksual yang marak terjadi di ranah kampus, karena tidak ada ruang aman untuk tindak kekerasan seksual maka kita harus membuatnya sendiri.
“Kita harus menelisik dan menyelesaikan persoalan dengan strategi yang bisa kita bangun bersama,” ungkapnya.
Mengambil contoh dari Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) yang telah memiliki buku saku untuk menangani kasus-kasus kekerasan seksual, Sasa sebagai salah satu yang hadir dalam festival juga berharap kampus di Makassar kedepannya dapat membuat SOP yang jelas terkait penanganan kasus kekerasan seksual.
