Makassar, Cakrawalaide.com- Extra exspose merupakan media fotografi dari Unit Penerbitan dan Penulisan Mahasiswa Universitas Muslim Indonesia (UPPM-UMI) menggelar pameran foto dengan mengangkat tema utama “ Merekam Kampus UMI,” depan fakultas pertanian, kampus II UMI, Senin (20/03/22)
Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan mengangkat isu-isu dan aktivitas yang terjadi di lingkup kampus UMI.
April, selaku ketua panitia pameran foto extra exspose mengatakan, “ Pameran foto itu diselenggarakan selain untuk menampilkan karya foto jurnalistik kawan-kawan extra expose, juga diharapkan dapat menjadi medium untuk dapat menelisik berbagai polemik yang terjadi di kampus, khususnya berbagai permasalahan yang hadir akibat berbagai kebijakan otoritas kampus yang tidak partisipatif melalui rangkaian foto Story.”
Lanjut, April juga menambahkan sesuai dengan tujuan awal pembuatan pameran, tema “Merekam Kampus UMI” tidak hadir secara serampangan, tema tersebut dipilih dengan tujuan untuk mengajak pengunjung pameran untuk melihat sisi lain dari kampus umi, kampus yang dari luar dikenal sebagai kampus terakreditas A, ternyata masih memiliki sejumlah polemik internal yang justru cenderung dikesampingkan oleh pihak kampus.
April juga mengharapkan, “Harapan atas terlaksananya kegiatan ini, semoga pihak kampus UMI kedepannya dapat menimbang setiap kritik yang telah kami sampaikan melalui gambar pada pameran foto ini, serta sebagai bahan evaluasi birokrasi agar lebih transparan, demokratis, dan berkeadilan dalam mengeluarkan kebijakan yang melibatkan civitas akademikanya. Kami juga berharap pameran foto ini, dapat menjadi pemantik untuk bersama mengawal berbagai kebijakan yang akan dikeluarkan UMI kedepannya, jangan sampai kita merasa nyaman dengan berbagai regulasi yang tidak berkeadilan,” Harapnya.
Ririn, salah satu pengunjung mengatakan bahwa pameran ini menjadi ruang yang efektif untuk menyampaikan keresahan mahasiswa
“Secara pribadi sebagai mahasiswa UMI, awalnya saya kurang paham sebenarnya apa yang salah dengan penutupan gerbang dan fakultas sastra. Namun setelah berkunjung baruka sadar kalo ternyata banyak aktifitas mahasiswa kalau malam, dan ternyata terlalu kecil fakultas sastra untuk kuantitasnya besar sekali. Yah pameran ini keknya berperan ki dalam memberitahukan kereshan minoritas di kampus.”
sejalan dengan hal itu, Ririn juga menyampaikan harapannya
“Semoga semakin banyak kegiatan seperti ini di ruang publik, terkhusus di Kampus UMI. pameran sangat efektif karena siapapun bisa akses, Awalnya hanya tertarik liat foto setelah itu bisaki belajar dan menyadari ketimpangan yang terjadi di kampus,” tutupnya.
