Film Grit, Kejahatan Ekosida dan Oligarki Politik
Makassar, Cakrawalaide.com – Pelataran Fakultas Sastra Universitas Muslim Indonesia (UMI) ramai dihadiri para mahasiswa dari berbagai organ, dalam agenda “Nonton bareng dan Diskusi film Grit” yang diselenggarakan secara kolektif oleh Unit Penerbitan dan Penulisan Mahasiswa (UPPM), Institut Demokrasi Hukum dan HAM (Insersium) serta Kedai Pribumi.
Kegiatan ini merupakan rangkaian peringatan Hari Anti Tambang (HATAM), yang berlangsung sejak pukul 21.15 WITA, Kamis (30/05/2019).
Grit merupakan film dokumenter produksi Journeyman Picture yang menceritakan mengenai daya rusak industri pertambangan migas di Kecamatan Porong, Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Dimana 13 tahun lalu, saat Dian, tokoh utama dalam film ini masih berumur 6 tahun, ia bersama masyarakat terdampak lainnya lari dari tsunami lumpur hitam, mendidih, dan berbau menyengat.
Tragedi lumpur Lapindo ini menyebabkan belasan desa terendam, lumpur terus menyembur dari sekitar lubang pengeboran Lapindo Brantas Inc. Saat itu 60.000 orang terpaksa dalam kondisi pengungsian, kehilangan harta benda serta mata pencahariannya.
Dalam film ini, Dian merupakan anak perempuan yang bertransformasi menjadi remaja yang aktif secara politik bersama ibunya menyuarakan suara rakyat Sidoarjo yang menderita akibat lumpur Lapindo, dan secara terus-menerus berani menagih pertanggungjawaban korporasi serta pemerintah untuk memberi ganti rugi kepada para korban terdampak.
Hingga kini persoalan tersebut masih menjadi permasalahan yang ruwet, Jaringan Advokasi Tambang (Jatam) menilai ganti rugi yang diberikan oleh perusahaan dan pemerintah belum bersifat adil bagi para korban.
Dalam sesi diskusi, Imamul Haq selaku pemantik menjelaskan pandangannya bahwa melakukan advokasi bukan hanya melalui jalur litigasi. Namun bisa juga dalam bentuk pembuatan film semacam film ‘Grit’ ini.
“Film Ini adalah bentuk advokasi terhadap lingkungan yang rusak akibat ekosida industri pertambangan, serta merupakan aksi kampanye terhadap suatu peristiwa dahsyat yang terjadi di Sidoarjo,” jelas kepala departemen advokasi Konsorsium Pembaruan Agraria (KPA) Sulsel.
Menurut pemantik yang akrab disapa kawan Imam ini, dalam film Grit, menguak adanya konsentrasi kekuasaan politik oleh segelintir orang menjadi dinding pengahalang dalam mendorong wacana lingkungan hidup yang sehat dan lepas dari eksploitasi berlebihan.
“Adanya oligarki politik dalam proses pembuktian bencana lumpur Lapindo sebagai akibat dari aktivitas pertambangan PT.Lapindo Brantas Inc, sehingga kemudian dalam putusan Mahkama Agung (MA) menyatakan bencana tersebut murni bencana alam,” ujar Imamul Haq.
Munif salah satu peserta diskusi perwakilan dari Insersium memberikan tanggapannya mengenai film, dalam tragedi lumpur Lapindo, sering dijumpai prespektif berbeda, hal tersebut terlihat pada media yang memberikan nama tragedi tersebut lumpur Sidoarjo dan tragedi lumpur Lapindo.
“Terdapat 2 diskursus berbeda, dari pemerintah menyebutnya lumpur Sidoarjo (terkhusus di TV One), sementara rakyat mengenal lumpur Lapindo, hal tersebut mempersulit proses pengadvokasian, sehinggah dalam persidangan tidak terbukti bahwa tragedi lumpur Lapindo adalah kesalahan PT.Lapindo, sebab PT.Lapindo dapat menghadirkan saksi ahli atau pakar yang mendukung bahwa bencana tersebut adalah bencana alam,” tukas Munif
Lanjut, ia menambahkan bahwa kejadian lumpur lapindo sebenarnya tergolong kejahatan pelanggaran HAM yakni ekosida atau perusakan lingkungan hidup secara besar-besaran.
“Secara Internasional ada 4 kejahatan HAM, dahulu ada 5 dan ekosida termasuk. Sebab salah satu HAM adalah hak untuk mendapatkan lingkungan hidup yang sehat,” tuturnya.
