Gerakan Mahasiswa Teknik: Stop Pungli di Tanah Wakaf

Makassar, Cakrawalaide.com – ” Segala bentuk pungli di tanah wakaf tidak diperbolehkan,” teriak salah satu massa aksi yang tergabung dalam Gerakan Mahasiswa Teknik UMI. Kamis (24/02/2022).

Berdasarkan seruan aksi yang disebarkan pada Rabu (23/02/2022) ” Stop pungli di tanah wakaf ” menjadi salah satu tuntutan massa Aksi.

Menurut Riki, selaku Koordinator Mimbar menilai bahwa ada sangat banyak praktik pungli yang terjadi dalam lingkup kampus UMI. Diantaranya, ada praktik jual-beli buku oleh para dosen kepada mahasiswanya yang tidak diketahui legalitasnya.

“Dalam lingkup kampus UMI ini, masih sangat banyak praktik-praktik pungli yang bisa kita temukan, diantaranya banyak mahasiswa baru yang notabenenya belum mengerti dunia kampus justru diminta membeli buku dan lain-lain, sedangkan kita tidak tahu buku yang diperjual-belikan ini dari mana, apakah sudah diketahui oleh pihak fakultas dan birokrasi atau belum,” tuturnya.

Sejalan dengan itu, Riki juga mengakui bahwa kadang terjadi ancaman-ancaman dari pihak dosen kepada mahasiswa yang tidak membeli buku.

“Dan ada banyak juga kasus dimana kita diwajibkan membeli buku dan jika tidak membeli lantas kita diancam nilai akan di erorkan,” ungkapnya.

Lanjut, Amrin selaku Jendral Lapangan (Jenlap) mengakui bahwa pungli merupakan salah satu permasalahan yang sangat urgent (darurat) di dalam kampus.

“Saya mewakili teman-teman dari Gerakan Mahasiswa Teknik yang aksi hari ini, mengakui bahwa isu pungli ini merupakan masalah yang sangat urgent karena hal ini seharusnya tidak boleh dilakukan di kampus yang merupakan tanah wakaf”.

Amrin juga mengatakan, banyak dari mahasiswa yang menyayangkan bahwa praktik pungli ini terjadi di Kampus UMI.

“Ada banyak teman-teman dari mahasiswa menyayangkan mengapa sampai terjadi praktik seperti ini yang dilakukan dalam lingkup UMI, Ini merupakan bentuk pungli karena kita membeli pakai uang dan bukunya juga pada akhirnya tidak terpakai,” jelasnya.

Selain itu, ia menerima banyak keluhan dari mahasiswa Fakultas Teknik karena sudah membeli buku namun nilainya tetap eror.

“Bahkan ada beberapa yang nilainya masih tetap eror walaupun sudah membeli buku, hal ini juga yang disayangkan terjadi oleh teman-teman Fakultas Teknik,”

Disamping itu, Fattah selaku Massa Aksi mengatakan bahwa dalam buku saku sudah dijelaskan mengenai praktik jual-beli antara mahasiswa dan dosen.

“Ada sekitar 10 orang teman saya yang menjadi korban jual beli buku, padahal sudah jelas diatur dalam buku saku bahwasanya tidak boleh ada proses jual beli yang terjadi antara dosen dan mahasiswa tersebut,” ujarnya.

Sementara itu, peraturan mengenai fasilitas belajar sudah diatur dalam Undang Undang Nomor 12 tahun 2021,Tentang Pendidikan Tinggi. Dijelaskan pada paragraf 5 pasal 41 ayat 1 mengatakan bahwa “Sumber belajar pada lingkungan perguruan tinggi wajib disediakan, difasilitasi atau dimiliki oleh perguruan tinggi sesuai dengan program studi yang dikembangkan” .

Diakhir Wawancara, Fattah menyampaikan harapannya dimasa kepemimpinan baru.

“Harapan saya dimasa kepemimpinan baru ini, semoga saja kedepannya tidak ada lagi oknum-oknum yang tidak bertanggung jawab yang memanfaatkan situasi untuk pungli, dan tidak ada pihak lagi yang akan dirugikan”.
