Hendak Mengakses Internet untuk Kuliah Online, Mahasiswi Unismuh Makassar Meninggal Dunia

Cakrawalaide.com – Mahasiswi Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD) Universitas Muhammadiyah (Unismuh) Makassar menghembuskan nafas terakhirnya pada Kamis (2/4/2020).
Saat dikonfirmasi melalui telepon, Ketua Prodi PGSD Unismuh, Aliem Bahri membenarkan hal tersebut. “Iya memang ada mahasiswi yang meninggal, cuman kami belum bisa konfirmasi sama keluarga korban disebabkan tidak bisa dihubungi,” ujarnya.
Diketahui mahasiswi itu bernama Munawwarah (20), asal Kabupaten Pinrang. Almarhumah baru saja meninggalkan rumah keluarganya di Desa Bungi menuju rumah neneknya di Salusape’ untuk mengambil pakaian karena berencana menginap di rumah keluarganya di Desa Bungi, Duampanua.
Almarhumah yang tinggal di Kecamatan Lembang, Desa Ulu Saddang, Dusun Bone, Kab.Pinrang tersebut memang memiliki tujuan bermalam bersama kedua sepupupunya hanya demi mengikuti kuliah online yang sesuai himbauan dari pemerintah untuk melaksakan kegiatan dari rumah dan kuliah secara daring. Karena rumahnya kurang terjangkau jaringan internet, sehingga perlu mencari rumah keluarga yang dekat dari kampung dan sudah bisa mengakses internet.
Atas kejadian nahas ini, Ketua Prodi PGSD, Aliem Bahri turut berduka dan menjelaskan bahwa kuliah daring ini dilakukan sesuai dengan edaran kementerian, guna mengantisipasi kondisi-kondisi terkait dengan pandemi Covid-19.
“Jadi seluruh kampus termasuk kampus kami juga menjalankan edaran kementerian tersebut. Jadwal belajarnya sendiri disesuaikan dengan jadwal kuliah normal, hanya saja dilakukan dalam bentuk daring supaya terkoordinir dengan baik. Kami juga sebenarnya telah melakukan monitoring secara berkala mengenai kuliah daring ini. Sejauh ini keluhan banyak mahasiswa adalah pada kuota. Alhamdulillah pihak kampus telah memberikan subsidi berupa kuota kepada mahasiswa-mahasiswanya, jadi untuk masalah kuota ini bisa selesai dengan baik,” jelasnya.
Lanjut, “Kemudian untuk menghindari hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan seperti ini, kami sudah memberikan anjuran kepada seluruh mahasiswa untuk tetap berada di Makassar selama masa kuliah daring ini masih berjalan,” tutur Aliem sapaan akrabnya.
Sementara itu, Asmaul Husna mahasiswi Universitas Negeri Makasssar (UNM), yang merupakan kerabat korban menjelaskan bahwa ia dan sepupunya sedang mencari rumah keluarga yang lain dekat dari kampung yang bisa akses internet. Rencananya mereka akan tinggal di Desa Salusape’, Kec. Lembang. Namun menurutnya, entah kenapa korban membatalkan rencana untuk tinggal di sana dan memilih Desa Bungi yang terletak di Kec. Duampanua sebagai penggantinya.
“Pada saat itu korban sedang berada di kampung untuk memastikan tempat tinggal mereka dan akhirnya berpindah dari Salusape menuju Bungi, akan tetapi barang-barangnya sudah dipindahkan ke Salusape. Jadi, korban langsung menuju ke Salusape lagi untuk mengambil barangnya dan dipindahkan ke Bungi. Pada saat korban berada di jembatan dalam perjalanannya menuju Salusape, bajunya masuk ke dalam terali motor dan akhirnya terjatuh. Kemudian ada orang yang melarikan ke Puskesmas. Namun orang tersebut mengatakan bahwa ia telah meninggal di tempat sehingga tidak bisa lagi untuk ditolong,” jelasnya via telepon.
Kini almarhumah dikebumikan di kampung halamannya sendiri, yaitu di Dusun Bone.
