Ini Perubahan Jadwal Pembayaran SPP/BPP dan Kalender Akademik UMI 2019/2020

Makassar, Cakrawalaide.com – Jadwal pembayaran Sumbangan Penyelenggaraan Pendidikan (SPP)/Biaya Penyelenggaraan Pendidikan (BPP) semester genap Universitas Muslim Indonesia (UMI) telah diperpanjang sampai 7 Februari 2020, semula beredar informasi bahwa batas pembayaran hanya sampai 31 Januari 2020.
Salah satu pegawai Tata Usaha (TU) bagian pembayaran SPP/BPP Fakultas Sastra, Ridha, mengungkapkan informasi perubahan jadwal tersebut baru saja beredar dengan masuknya Surat Edaran tertanggal 31 Januari 2020, dikeluarkan oleh Wakil Rektor (WR) 2 UMI Bidang Keuangan.
“Baru tadi datang itu [surat edaran], satu jam yang lalu,” ungkapnya.
Ia juga menjelaskan, aturan ini berlaku di setiap fakultas, serta dengan beredarnya surat tersebut maka batas pembayaran bersamaan dengan aktivitas kuliah perdana yang akan dimulai tanggal 24 Februari 2020 [Berdasarkan jadwal yang tertera di spanduk].
“Ada itu kalender akademik di sana. Itu yang berlaku kalender akademik, bisa diposting itu,” jelasnya sembari menunjuk ke spanduk jadwal akademik yang berada di sudut ruangan.
Selama libur perkuliahan semester ganjil, Ridha menuturkan sudah ada beberapa mahasiswa yang membayar. Namun belum secara keseluruhan.
“Ada yang sebagian [sudah bayar], tapi nda semua sudah membayar,” tuturnya.
Saat kami hendak konfirmasi mengenai informasi tersebut ke Prof Salim Basalamah selaku WR 2, di Menara UMI, akan tetapi bertepatan dengan agenda rapat.
Sementara itu, melalui Nurjannah Abna, bagian Kepala Humas menjelaskan alasan perpanjangan jadwal pembayaran karena ramainya mahasiswa yang hendak membayar SPP/BPP di Baitul Mall Waat Tamwil (BMT), serta banyaknya permintaan masyarakat untuk memberikan perpanjangan.
“Ini untuk mengakomodir permintaan masyarakat agar diberikan perpanjangan,” jelasnya via WhaatsApp dengan bagian pelayanan.
Selain itu, Nurjannah juga menambahkan bahwa untuk mahasiswa semester akhir [tingkat akhir], diberikan kesempatan untuk membayar hingga tanggal 31 Agustus dan pelaksanaan ujian tugas akhir dimungkinkan hingga bulan September.
“Itu untuk mahasiswa yang bebas kuliah [Bebas akademik] dan telah seminar hasil atau sisa ujian tugas akhir,” tutupnya.
