KSR PMI UMI : Asah Skill Relawanmu Lewat ISC
Makassar, cakrawalide.com – Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM) Korps Sukarela (KSR) Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI) unit Universitas Muslim Indonesia (UMI) akan menyelenggarakan Individual Skill Challenge (ISC) yang dibuka bagi seluruh perguruan tinggi di Indonesia.
Dalam agenda ini berbagai item kegiatan dihadirkan yakni Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) challenge, Patient Assesment challenge, dan pelatihan Road Accident Rescue (RAR) yang juga bakal dirangkaikan dengan kunjungan wisata di Malino Highland dan Air terjun Takapala, Kabupaten Gowa, Sulsel.
“Kegiatan ISC ini bertujuan untuk menilai juga mengasah skill dari tiap tim dalam menangani hal-hal emergency, baik itu saat ada bencana alam maupun kejadian yang ada di sekitar kita. Dengan RAR, itu bertujuan melatih bagaimana cara penanganan dan pengangkatan korban kecelakaan menggunakan alat estrikasi, serta alat RAR lainnya,” tutur Sakiah Sadjidin selaku ketua panitia.
“Selain itu tentunya dengan mengikuti ISC, kita sesama relawan bisa menjalin silaturahmi yang baik, dan raihlah juara dengan total hadiah sejumlah Rp 30.0000.000 (tiga puluh juta rupiah),” tambahnya.
Untuk pendaftaran peserta ISC telah dibuka sejak 25 Maret hingga 19 Agustus 2019.
Adapun biaya pendaftaran sebesar Rp 2.500.000 (dua juta lima ratus ribu rupiah). Dimana peserta berhak untuk mendapatkan fasilitas transportasi, konsumsi selama kegiatan, sertifikat, biaya akomodasi dan paket wisata.
Kegiatan ini akan berjalan selama lima hari, dimulai Rabu sampai Minggu (21-25/08/19). Pembukaan berlangsung di Kampus II UMI kemudian menuju Malino Kab. Gowa. Panitia ISC hanya menyediakan kuota bagi peserta sebanyak 50 tim, dimana setiap tim terdiri dari dua orang.
Panitia pelaksana telah menyiapkan pemateri sekaligus juri yang kompeten dan berpengalaman.
“Kami menyiapkan 3 orang fasilitator juga sebagai juri. Pertama, Wiyono Suyatno yang saat ini berkerja sebagai direktur PT. RESQTEC Indonesia dan Instructor RESQTEC Zumbro BV. Kedua, Suyatno, beliau adalah seorang Instruktur SAR. Terakhir, Andi Henry Achmad dengan pengalaman Training dan Workshop beliau pernah mengikuti First Aid & Cardiopulmonary Resusitation PT. Freeport Indonesia,” pungkas Sakiah.
