Mahasiswa Ilmu Komunikasi Keluhkan Pemberian Nilai yang Tidak Objektif

Makassar, Cakrawalaide.com- Mahasiswa Universitas Muslim Indonesia (UMI) Fakultas Sastra (FS) jurusan Ilmu Komunikasi (Ilkom) mengeluhkan kinerja salah satu dosen pengampu mata kuliah yang dinilai tidak menjalankan tugas dan tanggung jawab sebagai tenaga pengajar, Kamis (1/7/2021).
Diketahui dosen tersebut hanya mengadakan 1 kali pertemuan dengan mahasiswa selama 1 semester, padahal seharusnya ada 16 kali pertemuan yang harus dijalankan. Setelah 1 kali pertemuan melalui aplikasi via zoom tak ada lagi pertemuan dengan mahasiswa untuk melakukan transformasi ilmu pengetahuan.
Tidak hanya itu, dalam penilaian hasil belajar dosen tersebut, memberikan penilain yang tidak objektif yaitu memberikan nilai C kepada mahasiswa. Sedangkan Menurut Peraturan Rektor Universitas Muslim Indonesia No 04 Tahun 2020 Tentang Peraturan Akademik Universitas Muslim Indonesia dalam Bab V Evaluasi Studi Mahasiswa pasal 31 Penilaian Hasil Belajar ayat (1) Evaluasi hasil belajar mahasiswa dari satu mata kuliah dapat dilakukan dengan syarat; dosen telah menyelenggarakan sekurang-kuranggnya 85% dari rencana perkuliahan RPS (Rencana Pembelajaran Semester) dan mahasiswa telah mengikuti sekurang-kurangnya 75% dari kegiatan pembelajaran.
Ikhswan salah satu mahasiswa Ilmu Komunikasi menuturkan bahwa dosen tersebut tidak menjalankan tanggung jawabnya namun malah menggunakan dalil tidak pernah dihubungi oleh mahasiswa.
“Seingatku satu kali ji pertemuan zoom dan dua kali memberikan tugas di grup WhatsApp. Alasanya itu dosen tidak masuk karena tidak pernah dihubungi padahal ada bukti kalau dia dihubungi,” tuturnya.
Ia menambahkan dalam memberikan tugas final tidak masuk akal. Dosen memberikan tugas final pada tanggal 24 dan deadlinenya pada tanggal 27 sedangkan nilai keluar pada situs simpadu yaitu pada tanggal 26.
“Kagetka muncul mi nilai di simpadu padahal belum pi selesai final dikerjakan dan nilainya itu tidak masuk akal yaitu nilai C sedangkan ini dosen hanya satu kali masuk memberikan transfer ilmu,” tambahnya.
Hal senada juga di ungkapkan oleh Hasfar ia mengungkapkan dalam peraturan pemerintah (PP) 37 tahun 2009 dosen adalah pendidik profesional dan ilmuwan dengan tugas utama mentrasformasikan, mengembangkan, dan menyebarluaskan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi, dan seni melalui pendidikan, penelitian, dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Oleh karena itu dosen ini dinilai tidak menjalankan tugasnya sebagai tenaga pendidik.
“Menurut saya dosen ini perlu dievaluasi, jika tidak ini akan menjadi kebiasaan dan merugikan para mahasiswa,” ungkapnya.
Ia juga berharap agar ada kebijakan dari pihak dosen yang terkait serta pihak Prodi dan fakultas agar mengevaluasi dosen tersebut.
“Saya berharap ada kebijakan yang diberikan terkait pemberian nilai yang tidak sesuai ini,” tambahnya.
Menanggapi keluhan para mahasiswa Dekan Fakultas Sastra Muhammad Basri Dalle mengungkapkan akan menindak lanjuti dosen yang terkait dan hal ini sudah disampaikan kepada Ketua Prodi Ilmu Komunikasi.
“Kita pasti akan menindak lanjutinya tidak mungkin dibiarkan karena ini adalah amanah dan tanggung jawab saya, dan meminta pihak Prodi Ilmu Komunikasi agar ditinjau dan kalau perlu jangan dipasang lagi,” tegasnya.
Ia menambahkan setiap dosen penilaiannya prerogatif kepada mahasiswa yang tidak bisa di ganggu gugat hak penuh yang dimiliki oleh dosen namun tidak boleh semena-mena melaksanakan tugas apa lagi ini adalah kampus islami.
“Keluhan seperti ini akan kita carikan solusinya dan tidak akan membiarkannya berlanjut, kalau ada laporan seperti ini kita harus mendengarkan kedua belah pihak baru bisa mengambil keputusan,” tutupnya.
