MARS Sulsel Desak Presiden Sikapi Capim KPK Bermasalah
Makassar, Cakrawalaide.com – Koalisi Masyarakat Anti Korupsi (MARS) desak Presiden Republik Indonesia (RI) Joko Widodo untuk menyikapi secara tegas, terkait proses pemilihan Calon Pimpinan (Capim) Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) periode 2019-2023 yang dinilai bermasalah.
“Kami meminta kepada Presiden Jokowi agar segera mengambil sikap, memerintahkan pansel agar tidak meloloskan atau mencoret calon pimpinan KPK yang memiliki trek rekor buruk dan tidak berintegritas,” ujar Ady Anugrah dalam orasinya di Jalan Andi Pangeran Pettarani, Jumat (30/08/2019).
Menurut Humas MARS, dalam perjalanannya Panitia Seleksi (Pansel) kerap mengabaikan masukan dan informasi dari publik, bahkan mengeluarkan pernyataan-pernyataan yang tidak berdasar dan kontroversi.
“Pansel telah meloloskan beberapa Capim abal-abal, bahkan yang tidak patuh melaporkan harta kekayaan. Salah satu pansel juga menyatakan bahwa pimpinan KPK harus dari unsur penegak hukum, padahal KPK itu lahir karena lemahnya lembaga penegak hukum konvensional itu sendiri dalam memberantas korupsi,” tutur Ayie selaku Humas aksi.
Kemudian, ia juga menilai adanya ketimpangan dan konflik kepentingan dalam tim seleksi Capim KPK.
“Adanya kedekatan beberapa tim seleksi dengan kepolisian sehingga kami menilai akan berpotensi adanya konflik kepentingan dan objektivitas tim seleksi dalam menyeleksi patut untuk dipertanyakan,” ungkap Ayie.
Selain itu, Ayie mengungkapkan bahwa salah satu tim panelis calon pimpinan KPK adalah merupakan pengacara dari tersangka koruptor yang saat ini sementara menjalani penyidikan, sehingga memiliki potensi konflik interest.
“Maka dari itu, kami mendesak Presiden RI Joko Widodo untuk memberhentikan panitia seleksi pimpinan KPK yang punya konflik kepentingan dalam menjalankan tugas sebagai panitia seleksi,” tutupnya.
