Masyarakat Blokade Jalan Tolak Penambangan Di Bontonompo Selatan

Makasssar, Cakrawalaide.com – Sekelompok masyarakat di Desa Tindang Kecamatan Bontonompo Selatan Kabupaten Gowa melakukan aksi blokade jalan dan blokade lokasi penambangan pada Jum’at (03/09/2021) di jalan Poros Tindang. Hal ini dipicu karena aktivitas penambangan dari beberapa oknum di Kecamatan Bontonompo Selatan terkhusus di Desa Tindang telah memiliki banyak dampak diantaranya kerusakan jalan, kesehatan masyarakat sekitar dan banyaknya kecelakaan akibat jalan yang licin dan rusak serta ada beberapa potensi buruk yang akan terjadi jika aktivitas ini mengalami pembiaran. Masyarakat sambil membawa spanduk bertuliskan “Kami Menolak Tambang di Bontonompo Selatan” menyerukan tuntutan sambil berjalan menyusuri jalan dari arah Tindang sampai ke Kelurahan Bontoramba.
Masyarakat yang melakukan aksi ini melakukan longmars dari mesjid Tindang menuju lokasi penambangan dan beberapa wilayah yang terindikasi terkena dampak aktivitas pertambangan, namun dalam aksi ini ada beberapa pihak penambang yang mencoba menghalangi masyarakat dengan membawa senjata tajam. Tentunya dalam hal ini pemerintah daerah dan pemerintah setempat seperti Kepala Kecamatan (Camat), Kepolisian (Kapospol) dan TNI (Koramil) di Bontonompo Selatan serta Kepala Desa Tindang khususnya harus bersikap cepat dan tegas untuk mencegah terjadinya balkanisasi (konflik horizontal) antara penambang dan masyarakat yang resah karena dampak yang ditimbulkan.
Masyarakat menganggap bahwa pemerintah daerah dan Dinas lingkungan hidup tidak tegas menjalankan amanat undang-undang nomor 38 tahun 2004 tentang larangan terhadap oknum yang melakukan kegiatan yang merusak jalan umum serta pemerintah daerah dianggap tidak mampu merespon dengan bijaksana dan tegas aksi demonstrasi dilakukan masyarakat Bontonompo Selatan di depan kantor pemerintah daerah dan kantor dinas lingkungan hidup Kabupaten Gowa pada Senin (23/08/2021)
“Saat ini jalan di Desa Tindang sudah seperti jalan kerbau yang sudah tidak layak lagi di lewati oleh masyarakat, selain itu kami juga takut setelah penggalian tanah dan komersialisasi pasir di Desa Tindang ini mengakibatkan longsor dan bencana alam lainnya,” ucap salah satu ibu-ibu yang ikut serta dalam massa aksi.
“Aksi ini betul-betul keresahan kami sebagai masyarakat Tindang melihat jalanan yang sudah sangat rusak dan aktivitas tambang yang cukup mengganggu di waktu istrahat kami karena aktivitas ini berlangsung sampai malam hari, serta aksi ini menjadi pertanda bahwa kami masyarakat Bontonompo Selatan mengharamkan dibukanya dan beroperasinya segala aktivitas pertambangan di Bontonompo Selatan,” lugas Syahrul (Masyarakat yang terkena dampak langsung).
“Kami meminta kepada pihak terkait dalam hal ini kepala kecamatan Bontonompo Selatan, Kepala Kapospol dan kepala desa Tindang membuka suara dan memgambil langkah taktis terkait permasalahan yang sampai hari ini masih terjadi. Karena kita melihat bahwa potensi kericuhan di Tindang ini sangat besar apabilah aktivitas tambang ini tetap dibiarkan, karena saya meyakini kita semua di Bontonompo Selatan menginginkan kampungta tetap aman dan tentram,” kata Rusman dalam orasinya (masyarakat desa Tindang).
“Hal yang dilakukan masyarakat di Tindang adalah bukti bahwa kita masih menjunjung tinggi prinsip assangkana (kompak) untuk bersama-sama menjaga dan menghentikan segala bentuk pengrusakan lingkungan di Bontonompo Selatan.” lanjut Syahrul. Sampai saat ini ada beberapa titik penambangan di Bontonompo Selatan yang masih mengalami pembiaran dari pemerintah dan aparatur penegak hukum di Kabupaten Gowa terkhusus di Bontonompo Selatan. Tegasnya masyarakat menegaskan apabila aktivitas pertambangan tidak dihentikan maka masyarakat akan tetap melakukan aksi menutup paksa lokasi tambang yang di Bontonompo Selatan.
