Makassar Cakrawalaide.com – Perempuan Pesisir dan Nelayan Tradisional melakukan aksi menolak pembangunan Makassar New Port (MNP) dan menuntut ganti rugi atas dampak pembangunan MNP pada nelayan, aksi yang berlangsung di MNP Jln. Sultan Abdullah raya, Selasa (23/03/2021).
Proyek pembangun MNP dimulai sejak tahun 2015. Sejak saat itu aktivitas penimbunan laut atau reklamasi pesisir tallo untuk proyek pembangunan MNP mulai dilaksanakan. Proyek MNP dibangun pada kawasan wilayah kelola masyarakat nelayan tradisional di Kelurahan Tallo, Kelurahan Buloa dan Kelurahan Cambaya tanpa adanya informasi dan proses konsultasi kepada perempuan pesisir dan nelayan tradisional yang menggantung hidup dan kehidupannya di Laut.
Pelabuhan Makassar New Port dibangun disekitar tempat nelayan memasang jaring untuk mencari kepiting, udang, dan kerang.
Pertengahan tahun 2017, nelayan mulai dilarang untuk melintasi dan memasang jaring serta melakukan aktivitas di lokasi yang diklaim oleh perusahaan PT. Pelindo IV untuk proyek pembangunan pelabuhan Makassar New Port.
Samsam salah satu Nelayan yang terdampak mengungkapkan pendapatannya sebagai nelayan menurun semenjak adanya proyek MNP. Nelayan harus menempuh jarak yang lebih jauh dan mengeluarkan lebih banyak bahan bakar perahu untuk mencari ikan.
“Dampaknya pendapatan berkurang, bertambah kita punya biaya keluar karna tambah jauh lagi bensin yang kita pakai keluar,” tuturnya.
Aksi demonstrasi, mediasi dan beragam upaya untuk mengembalikan akses nelayan dan perempuan pesisir terhadap ruang hidupnya telah mereka lakukan. Upaya-upaya tersebut belum berhasil memulihkan kondisi atas dampak yang ditimbulkan pembangunan MNP.
Terkait tuntutan aksi tersebut, Anggi selaku jendlap menyampaikan bahwa upaya menyurati PT. Pelindo serta Rapat Dengar Pendapat (RDP) telah ditempuh namun belum menemukan titik terang.
“Kami melakukan RDP sebanyak 3 kali di kantor DPRD Sulsel yang di hadiri juga oleh PT pelindo IV selaku pelaksana tapi sampai hari ini tdk ada titik terang dari pemerintah dan kami sudah bersurat beberapa kali ke Pelindo tapi tidak pernah di respon,” tuturnya.
