Peringati Amarah dengan Shalat Ghaib
Makassar, Cakrawalaide.com – April Makassar Berdarah (AMARAH) biasanya hanya diperingati dengan aksi demonstrasi yang secara bergantian menyampaikan orasi ilmiah, namun kali ini ada hal berbeda.
Sejumlah mahasiswa Universitas Muslim Indonesia (UMI) yang mengatasnamakan diri Aliansi Mahasiswa UMI, mereka memulai aksi dengan shalat ghaib, di Jl Urip Sumoharjo, tepat di depan gerbang 2 (dua) kampus UMI, Rabu (24/04/2019)
Dafa selaku jendral lapangan aksi yang berlangsung damai ini, mengatakan bahwa sesuai kesepakatan aliansi mereka akan membuat sesuatu yang berbeda, tidak hanya berkoar-koar memakai toa, tetapi juga shalat dengan membawa keranda serta salah satu peserta aksi berperan sebagai mayat.
“Shalat ghaib menjadi sesuatu yang berbeda, karena kalau aksi dan orasi sudah sangat biasa. Kali ini kami di aliansi memang sudah sepakat untuk adakan shalat ghaib, sebagai bentuk menolak lupa terhadap apa yang terjadi pada 23 tahun silam,” ujar Dafa, saat dimintai keterangan.
Aksi tersebut pun cukup menarik perhatian masyarakat pengguna jalan yang melintas.
Kemudian, Aslan salah satu massa aksi menilai bahwa momentum Amarah yang diperingati dengan shalat ghaib tersebut adalah cara mereka melihat Amarah dari sisi yang berbeda, dan tidak semestinya hanya dijadikan komoditas.
“Ini adalah cara kita peringati Amarah, ini adalah peristiwa yang sampai sekarang belum terungkap dan tidak ada kejelasan kasus hukumnya, Amarah bukan sekedar momentuman yang sebahagian mahasiswa hanya jadikan komoditas dalam bentuk jual baju dan lain sebagainya,” tutur Aslan.
Lanjut, menurut Aslan, shalat ghaib merupakan terobosan baru dalam memperingati Amarah dan menjadi bentuk penghormatan terhadap aktivis yang telah gugur.
“Dengan keluarnya surat edaran rektor yang meliburkan kampus pada tanggal 24 dan 25 April, secara tidak langsung adalah pelarangan. Jadi yang ingin memperingati Amarah harus lebih kreatif,” tutupnya.
