Pustaka Kolong, Gerakan Literasi dalam Kampung

Maros, Cakrawalaide.com – Demi meningkatkan Gerakan Literasi di daerah, Pemuda Desa Limapoccoe, mendirikan perpustakaan umum yang diberi nama Pustaka Kolong, Kec. Cenrana, Kab. Maros, Minggu (29/11/2020).
Perpustakaan yang dibangun dibawah kolong rumah ini, bertujuan untuk memberikan wadah kepada masyarakat, dan secara khusus untuk mendorong minat baca warga desa Limapoccoe.
Gerakan literasi dalam bentuk Pustaka Kolong ini juga dibuat karena, “Niatnya dorongan dari hati melihat kondisi masyarakat yang minat bacanya sangat rendah,” ungkap Fahri salah satu Pendiri Pustaka Kolong.
Pemuda berusia 22 tahun itu juga mengharapkan, ”Dengan adanya wadah Pustaka Kolong ini, diharapkan mampu memikat dan mendorong minat baca anak-anak bahkan orang dewasa sekalipun,” harapnya.
Alumni Fakultas Agama Islam Universitas Muslim Indonesia (FAI UMI) ini juga menjelaskan dalam proses pembangunan Pustaka Kolong ini, dilakukan bersama-sama warga sekitar secara gotong-royong. Namun, kendala Pustaka Kolong ini adalah kurangnya buku bacaan yang disediakan.
“Kalau soal kendala donasi bukunya memang sangat berat, karena hanya meminta donasi ke khalayak umum. Karena Pustaka Kolong ini, pakai ekonomi mandiri tidak terikat dengan instansi manapun,” jelasnya.
Senada dengan itu, Riswan (24) salah satu pendiri Pustaka Kolong juga menuturkan hal ini merupakan bentuk dari rasa peduli terhadap rendahnya minat baca generasi muda di daerahnya. Dan mengharapkan adanya dampak yang baik terhadap warga Desa Limapoccoe.
“Sedikit banyak diharapkan mampu memberi dampak yang baik untuk lingkungan yang terkontaminasi dampak buruk teknologi,” tutupnya.
