SOP Menjadi Salah Satu Fokus Utama Dalam Festival IWD

Makassar, Cakrawalaide.com- Es Teh Alliance mendorong pengadaan Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) Penanganan kasus kekerasan seksual disetiap kampus yang ada di Makassar.
“Karena sampai saat ini tidak satu pun kampus di Makassar sepengetahuanku yang mempunyai SOP tentang penanggulangan kekerasan seksual,” ungkap Nuraini Rahman, di Jl. Balaikota no.11. Minggu, (14/3/2021).
Hal ini disampaikan oleh Aini sapaan akrabnya dalam Festival peringatan IWD (International Women’s Day) yang bertemakan “Nyalakan Tanda Bahaya-Patriarchy Is For Real”.
Ia menambahkan, SOP Penanganan Kasus Kekerasan Seksual ini sangat penting, karena terbukti telah banyak terjadi pelecehan hingga kekerasan seksual di dalam perguruan tinggi. Lebih jauh, SOP Penanganan Kasus Kekerasan Seksual juga bisa memberikan perlindungan dan pemulihan terhadap korban kekerasan seksual.
“Tapi tidak menutup kemungkinan ada juga orang lain yang akan menjadi sasarannya,” tambahnya.
Ia juga menjelaskan, festival ini menjadi salah satu langkah awal untuk menarik perhatian publik agar bersama-sama mendorong SOP Penanganan Kasus Kekerasan Seksual. Maka dari itu Es Teh Alliance mengajak semua kalangan untuk berpartisipasi dalam mendorong SOP tersebut.
“Bahwa kekerasan seksual itu adalah bagian dari pengkhianatan hak asasi manusia dan langkah konkretnya yaitu membuat SOP dan mengajak teman-teman untuk sama-sama menggagas itu.” tandas Aeni.
Senada dengan itu, Nunuk salah satu peserta kegiatan mengatakan, “Benar, bahkan sebenarnya sudah ada pemberitahuan dari Kementrian Agama (Kemenag) tentang SOP Penanganan Kasus Kekerasan Seksual,” paparnya.
Menurutnya, sangat jelas bahwa SOP Penanganan Kasus Kekerasan Seksual telah menjadi kewajiban bagi setiap perguruan tinggi. Sepeti yang telah diterapkan di Universitas Indonesia (UI) dan Universitas Gajah Mada (UGM).
