Makassar, cakrawalaide.com – Himpunan Mahasiswa Sastra Inggris menggelar panggung sastra yang kedua kalinya. salah satu item acara panggung sastra yang menarik yaitu menggelar Teater tradisional yang Bertema sitobo’ lalang lipa’, Selasa (31 Mei) Di benteng fort roterdam.
Teater Si tobo’ lalang lipa’ cukup menarik perhatian penonton dikarenakan konsep yang berlatar belakang budaya sulawesi selatan yang menceritakan sebuah pertarungan yang elegan untuk menyelesaikan sebuah konflik. di teater Si tobo’ lalang lipa’ mencerminkan sifat kelaki-lakian seseorang yang akan teruji siapa saja yang bertarung di dalamnya punya mentalitas yang luar biasa. Pertarungan head to head paling sejati yang mengharamkan sistem keroyok dan pengkhianatan. Teater Si tobo’ lalang lipa’ merupakan gambaran dari ciri khas budaya Bugis Makassar, ketika sebuah perselisihan tak dapat lagi dihindari maka harga diri harus ditegakkan dengan cara saling meniadakan nyawa.
fachri selaku kordinator steering panggung sastra menuturkan, teater Si tobo’ di pilih karena teater ini memiliki pe san moral seperti orang yang memiliki status sosial yang tinggi tidak boleh bertindak semena-mena. “teater si tobo’ lalang lipa’ kami pilih karena teater ini salah satu yang mudah di mainkan dan memiliki pesan moral yang tinggi, ini cocok bagi mahasiswa sastra yang memiliki basic drama kurang bagus, teater ini juga melatih mahasiswa sastra untuk berdrama dalam durasi yang lebih lama karena saat ini mahasiwa hanya memainkan drama di fakultas cuma dalam durasi yang singkat,” ujarnya.
