Tolak Aktivitas Aparat di Kampus, Mahasiwa UMI Lakukan Unjuk Rasa
Matahari baru saja terbit di ufuk timur, sejumlah mahasiswa telah melakukan unjuk rasa dalam menolak aktivitas aparat di ruang lingkup kampus II Universitas Muslim Indonesia yang mengenakan seragamnya, kemudian melaksanakan tes psikologi bagi calon siswa polisi (casis).
Kurang dari sepuluh mahasiswa telah berkeliling ke beberapa fakultas untuk memprotes kebijakan yang mengizinkan polisi untuk masuk dan menggunakan fasilitas kampus, pada jumat (10/05/2024).
Salah satu massa aksi Pamoso menuturkan unjuk rasa kali ini adalah bentuk kecaman kepada birokrasi kampusnya (Universitas Muslim Indonesia) yang telah mengizinkan pihak kepolisian melakukan aktivitas di lingkungan masyarakat akademik.
“Kami meminta dari pihak birokrasi kampus untuk melarang segala bentuk aktivitas, yang dilakukan oleh aparat,” ungkap pria beralamater hijau tersebut.
Senada dengan hal tersebut, Ham juga mengungkapkan kekecewaannya pada penyelenggara pendidikan di UMI yang telah mengizinkan pihak kepolisian masuk dengan seragannya dan menggunakan fasilitas kampus
“ini adalah bentuk protes karna kami tidak sepakat dengan adanya aktivitas kepolisian di kampus kami, apalagi sekarang ini mereka datang dikampus, masuk dalam kampus menggunakan seragamnya,” ungkapnya
Tak menolak kehadiran aparat kepolisan masuk ke dalam kampus Ims yang merupakan salah satu masa aksi juga menyori surat edaran nomor : 1607/F.01/UMI/V/2024 yang tidak membenarkan adanya aktivitas organisasi mahasiswa di dalam kampus
