Webinar HME-FT UMI Diskusikan Perkembangan Teknologi Mobil Listrik

Himpunan Mahasiswa Elektro Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Muslim Indonesia (HME-FT UMI) menggelar webinar dengan tajuk “Mobil Listrik Solusi Atau Ilusi”. Webinar ini diselenggarakan guna merespon dinamika perkembangan teknologi mobil listrik yang masih kurang mendapat perhatian masyarakat, Selasa (22/12/2020).
Andi Hasdi selaku Ketua HME-FT UMI mengungkapkan, minimnya pembahasan di ruang publik mengenai perkembangan teknologi mobil listrik menjadi dasar webinar tersebut dilaksanakan. “Kami melihat bahwa teknologi mobil listrik cukup baru di Indonesia. Selain itu, tidak banyak masyarakat luas yang mengetahui terkait perkembangan terbaru teknologi ini,” ungkap Hasdi sapaan akrabnya.
Selain itu, Hasdi menambahkan, melihat dinamika teknologi mobil listrik juga terdapat masalah dalam pengembangannya. Webinar kali ini juga menguraikan hambatan dan tantangan dalam pengembangan teknologi mobil listrik.
“Masalahnya cukup banyak mengenai mobil listrik ini yang mesti didiskusikan bersama orang-orang yang berkompeten di bidangnya sekaligus membuka pemahaman publik mengenai perkembangan mobil listrik di Indonesia,” tambahnya di sela webinar saat dihubungi oleh cakrawalaide.com.
Salah satu perserta webinar, Asratul hidayah mahasiswa elektro Universitas Islam Makassar (UIM), mengungkapkan apresiasinya terkait materi yang dibahas oleh narasumber. Ia mengungkapkan sangat terbantu dengan adanya webinar ini, dalam proses pembuatan motor listrik yang sedang ia rancang.
“Muatan materinya sangat baik. Sangat membantu saya karena rencana mau juga bikin motor listrik. Tapi tidak tau kapan bisa terealisasikan. Butuh banyak referensi agar terlaksana dengan baik,” uangkaprnya.
Selain itu, Ketua Jurusan Teknik Elektro UMI Arif Jaya turut mendukung penyelenggaraan webinar tersebut. Menurutnya kegiatan webinar ini bisa menjadi media pembelajaran bagi mahasiswa sekaligus mensosialisasikan teknologi terbaru.
“Kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh HME-FT UMI terkait bagaimana EV (mobil listrik) dan kebijakan pemerintah dalam mendorong mobil EV Nasional sangat positif. Karena selain sebagai media pembelajaran bagi mahasiswa juga membantu pemerintah dalam mensosialisasikan mobil listrik Nasional kedepan,” terangnya.
“Kami dari pihak jurusan sangat mendukung kegiatan tersebut untuk membangun link and match antara pemerintah, pihak industri, dan pihak kampus,” tambahnya.
Webinar yang berjalan selama tiga jam tersebut, menghadirkan dua narasumber yaitu Ir. Masrah Marang dan Didit Waskito ST. MT, yang banyak membahas terkait dinamika perkembangan teknologi mobil listrik serta tantangan dan peluang dalam mewujudkannya.
