Makassar,Cakrawalaide.com- Aliansi Mahasiswa Universitas Muslim Indonesia memperingati AMARAH, gelar aksi sekaligus ziarah ke Makam korban AMARAH, tewasnya 3 korban 26 tahun silam atas represifitas aparat, menjadi pemantik sekaligus diangkatnya grand isu “Usut Tuntas Kasus Pelanggaran HAM, Wujudkan Demokratisasi Kampus” dan beberapa isu turunan hari ini. Minggu (24/04/2022).

Berdasarkan press realase, pihak UMI tidak pernah memperlihatkan itikad untuk membantu korban, keluarga korban ataupun simpatis dan menuntut negara melakukan penyelesaian terhadap kasus pelanggaran HAM yang terjadi. AMU mengecam tindakan kampus yang menekan kebebasan berekspresi mahasiswa, adanya aturan dalam buku saku UMI yang melarang peringatan tragedi AMARAH bahkan ketidakterbukaan informasi UMI sebagai badan publik, statuta yang tidak bisa di akses dan penerapan Permendikbud No. 30 dinilai mencedarai nilai-nilai demokratis.

Amrin selaku Jenlap menyampaikan bahwa terkait beberapa tuntutan, usut tuntas pelaku pelanggaran HAM masa lalu, transparansi akuntable, terapkan Permendikbud No. 30 2021 tidak akan mendapat respon langsung dari birokrasi UMI namun, minimal mahasiswa telah menyampaikan apa yang menjadi kebutuhan dan hal apa yang perlu di ubah dalam sistem birokrasi kampus saat ini.

“Mungkin untuk respon dari pihak birokrasi UMI terkait usut tuntas pelaku pelanggaran HAM masa lalu, mempertanyakan transparansi akuntable dalam kampus dan terapkan Permendikbud No. 30 ini tidak akan langsung direspon, namun minimal kita telah menyampaikan kebutuhan mahasiswa dan hal apa yang perlu diubah dalam sistem birokrasi kampus,” ucapnya.

Ical selaku humas aliansi juga menambahkan bahwa seharusnya kampus menjadi awal nilai-nilai praktik demokrasi mulai dari pelanggaran HAM masa lalu, tindaklanjut Permendikbud No. 30 dari beberapa kasus pelecehan seksual baik yang terpublikasi maupun belum dan mengenai statuta, keterbukaan informasi harus di beberkan agar masyarakat utamanya mahasiswa UMI sendiri mengetahui regulasi, aturan kampus itu sendiri.

“Harusnya kampus menjadi awal nilai-nilai praktik demokrasi mulai dari pelanggaran HAM masa lalu, tindaklanjut Permendikbud No. 30, kan kasus kekerasan seksual baik yang sudah terpublikasi maupun belum bagaimana caranya kampus melegitimasi harus di terapkan di kampus, dan UMI ini kita tidak menerapkan keterbukaan informasi mengenai statuta yang harus di publikasi supaya masyarakat utamanya mahasiswa mengetahui regulasi aturan kampus itu,” tegasnya.

“Aliansi Mahasiswa UMI akan mengadakan panggung bebas ekspresi pada tanggal 25 April memperingati tragedi kelam April Makassar Berdarah, silahkan merapat dan berpartisipasi. Salam.” Tambahnya.
