Dia bilang

Tanah kita subur nan kaya

Begitu sorak mereka

 

Cengkih dan pala di desa

Sudah miskin buah

Padi di sawah

Sudah terancam punah

Ladang-ladang ditanami beton

Lahan milik bapaknya

Dikeruk oleh besitua

Sebentar lagi diganti pabrik

Lalu kakek-neneknya

Menjerit, mengepal tangis

Kala tuan tak bersama mereka

 

Dia bilang

Negeri kita adil nan sejahtera

Begitu pula kata mereka

 

Saban hari saudara kita

Berteduh dibawah terik

Dan bila petang pergi

Mereka berlindung dibawah rembulan

Sesekali berkelahi hujan

Saat si kaya mencuri uang

Di saku nenek ku, dihukum surga

Lalu si miskin mengambil kayu

Dikebun tetangga, dihukum neraka

Di sini yang lemah menguak isaknya

Memeluk erat air mata

Saat puan tak bersama mereka

 

Dia bilang

Negara kita sudah merdeka

Begitu teriak mereka

 

Di pusat kota

Dibawah pohon soekarno

Ada sepuak orang fakir

Mengemis adil, meminta kebahagiaan

Bukan pada Tuhan

Entah pada siapa?

Di Endonesia

Tanah subur dan kaya tidak untuk kita

Keadilan hanyalah omong kosong

Kesejahteraan hanyalah tipu muslihat

Kemerdekaan adalah mitos belaka
