Aturan Larangan Peringati AMARAH Picu Perlawanan Mahasiswa
Tepat 23 tahun silam, mengenang kembali para pejuang pemicu reformasi dari tanah Makassar. Sebuah tragedi kelam terjadi di Univeritas Muslim Indonesia (UMI) yang hingga kini tak ada kejelasan mengenai pelaku dibalik terbunuhnya 3 mahasiswa. Keberanian mahasiswa melawan supremasi rezim Orba dibawa kekuatan bersenjata yang mengekang kebebasan sipil. Berawal dari aksi demonstrasi mahasiswa UMI menuntut kenaikan harga BBM yang berdampak pada naiknya tarif angkutan kota. Perjuangan mahasiswa yang berlansung tanggal 21 hingga 30 April, hanya berakhir dengan penandatanganan piagam kerukunan.
Tidak terpenuhinya hak korban menjadi alasan kuat mahasiswa masih menggelar aksi dengan berbagai varian ditiap tahunnya saat tanggal 24 April. Berbeda halnya dengan peringatan Amarah beberapa tahun kemarin yang digelar dengan desain Islamis. Misalnya saja pada tahun 2018, dari tiga aliansi yang memperingati Amarah, dua di antaranya menggelar dzikir dan yasinan bersama di depan gerbang kampus.
Namun pada peringatan Amarah kali ini nampak sangat jauh berbeda. Mahasiswa kembali berbondong-bondong menyusuri jalan Urip Sumohardjo, dengan varian aksi dan semangat juang yang menggebu-gebu. Jumlah massa yang berlipat ganda kisaran lima ratusan mahasiswa turun menggelar aksi demontrasi, jika dibandingkan dengan tahun kemarin yang hanya setengahnya, Rabu, (24/4/2019).
Tentu fenomena ini bukanlah suatu yang kebetulan semata, akan tetapi didasari oleh sebuah permasalahan besar yang kembali memicu aksi demonstrasi besar-besaran. Meski dalam peringatan Amarah ini mahasiswa turun dengan tiga garis komando yang terpisah dan waktu yang hampir bersamaan, akan tetapi semua berjalan damai tanpa terjadi adanya konflik horizontal.
Mengusung tuntutan kekerasan akademik, penghapusan aturan Bab VIII tentang Larangan dan Sanksi, pasal 26 pada buku saku ayat 10 dan 11. Ratusan mahasiswa Himpunan Mahasiswa Islam (HMI) di bawah naungan Kordinator Komisariat (Korkom) UMI mendatangi gedung Rektorat mendesak birokrasi untuk segera menghapuskan aturan yang membungkam suara mahasiswa. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan menziarahi kuburan korban tragedi Amarah, di Taman Makam Pahlawan dan Rumah Sakit Dadi.
Ratusan massa aksi dari Gerakan UMI Besatu (GUB) juga turut menggemahkan kembali lantunan lagu Amarah dengan mengenakan mobil komando. Setelah menziarahi kuburan korban para pejuang Amarah, kemudian massa aksi GUB juga mendatangi gedung Rektorat, menuntut pihak kampus agar segera merevisi aturan pasal 26 tahun 2018.
Begitupun halnya dengan Aliansi Mahasiswa UMI (AM UMI), mayoritas dari ratusan massa aksi dengan mengenakan baju hitam dan keranda mayat sebagai simbolik matinya demokrasi di kampus UMI. Dalam aksinya kali ini, AM UMI juga mengecam birokrasi karena telah mengeluarkan aturan yang membungkam demokrasi kampus.
Sepertinya wacana ketakutan melalui surat edaran pelarangan memperingati Amarah dengan ancaman skorsing minimal satu semester tak lagi dihiraukan massa aksi dari tiga aliansi besar ini. Lagu Amarah yang mengisahkan tragedi mengenaskan perjuangan mahasiswa yang diperhadapkan dengan rotan, sepatu laras, pasukan kavalerry, bahkan panser dengan leluasanya merengsek ke dalam kampus. Pemburuan yang membabi buta kepada para mahasiswa hingga tak terhitung lagi berapa tetes darah terbayarkan dalam peristiwa tersebut.
Jika saja para pendahulu kita berjuang mati-matian melawan kekuatan Angkatan Bersenjata Republik Indonesia (ABRI) demi mewujudkan tatanan masyarakat demokratis. Hari ini mahasiswa diperhadapkan dengan birokrasi kampusnya sendiri yang wataknya tak berbeda dengan gaya militerisme rezim Orba dibawah pimpinan Soeharto, sang diktator. Tercerminkan dari peraturan UMI No. 01 tahun 2018, Pasal 26 tentang larangan mahasiswa pada ayat (10) Tidak diperkenankan menyampaikan aspirasi dan unjuk rasa di jalan raya depan kampus Universitas Muslim Indonesia, dan ayat (11) Tidak diperkenankan memperingati April Makassar Bedarah.
Upaya kampus untuk meniadakan Amarah sepertinya harus dipertimbangkan kembali. Jika tidak maka yakinlah gelombang gerakan aksi massa akan semakin membesar. Garis benang merah dari gerakan ini semuanya lahir dari perkara yang sama. Yakni menolak segala bentuk kebijakan kampus yang mencoba menutup kerang demokrasi kembali.
Sebagai catatan buat para petinggi kampus, merasa berkuasa bukan berarti dapat berbuat apa saja. Semakin birokrasi mencoba mengekang kebebasan berekpresi maka yakinlah jiwa pembangkang akan kembali berdiri membentuk barisan yang tak kenal letih. Suara-suara protes akan terus menggemah semakin besar hingga merusak malam-malam persitirahatan. Mereka akan ada, terus ada dan berlipat ganda meneriakkan suara-suara kebenaran atas kesalahan yang telah kalian lakukan.
Dan hal yang juga harus dipahami oleh birokrasi kampus mengenai peringatan Amarah. Amarah adalah kisah berharga bagi kami dan bagi mereka yang kini sadar telah menikmati kebebasan demokrasi sebagai hasil perjuangan para pejuang terdahulu. Khususnya di UMI, Amarah adalah sebuah identitas yang tak dapat dipisahkan dengan kampus. Mengharamkan peringatan Amarah sama halnya pengkhianatan atas keberhasilan yang telah ditorehkan para pejuang demokrasi. Jadi merenggut AMARAH sama halnya memicu Amarah kembali.
