Fakultas Hukum Dinilai Lalai Membenahi Sistem Administrasi
Makassar, cakrawalaide.com — Fakultas Hukum kembali disambangi masalah administrasi yang klasik, terlambatnya jadwal perkuliahan dan belum adanya penyediakan kartu kontrol sejak beberapa tahun terakhir ini selalu berulang. Menanggapi hal ini banyak yang berasumsi bahwa Fakultas Hukum UMI tak serius mengevaluasi sistem administrasinya. Padahal fakultas dengan predikat akreditasi mentereng ini, seharusnya lebih mantap dalam sisi pelayanan dibanding fakultas lainnya, yang sebagian sudah tepat waktu melaksanakan perkuliahan.
Pada kuliah perdana pasca libur semester ganjil (03/03), beberapa mahasiswa Fakultas Hukum terpaksa harus pulang, karena tak dilayani untuk mengambil kartu kontrol dan jadwal perkuliahan, padahal hal ini penting bagi mahasiswa untuk mengevaluasi kemajuan akademik yang diperoleh pada semester lalu, sekaligus memulai perkuliahan tepat waktu sesuai dengan jadwal yang ditetapkan.
Ditemui di depan ruang Bagian Akademik Fakultas Hukum. Yusup, mahasiswa angkatan 2012 mengatakan bahwa dirinya sangat kecewa dengan administrasi fakultas yang tidak berjalan maksimal
“saya sudah jauh-jauh hari datang dari kampung untuk mengejar kuliah, tapi alih-alih untuk kuliah, bahkan jadwal kuliahnya pun belum keluar” Ujarnya
Untuk mengecek sebab-musabab dari carut-marutnya sistem administrasi Fakultas Hukum, reporter cakrawala mencoba untuk menemui penanggung jawab penyusun jadwal perkuliahan, namun birokrasi fakultas yang ada, saling melempar tanggung jawab dalam menanggapi masalah yang dinilai merugikan mahasiswa.
Thaha, salah satu karyawan penyusun jadwal perkuliahan, mengatakan bahwa keterlambatan Wakil Dekan I (Ilham Abbas) dalam menyetor daftar dosen adalah salah satu kendalanya
“hal ini terjadi akibat beberapa kendala, salah satunya karena keterlambatan penyetoran daftar nama-nama dosen dari Wakil Dekan I” ujar Thaha
Namun setelah itu, reporter cakrawala kembali mewawancarai salah satu staf bagian administrasi untuk meminta tanggapan atas hal ini. Staf tersebut mengatakan bahwa penyusun jadwal perkuliahan-lah yang bertanggung jawab penuh atas hal tersebut.
Sedangkan ketika cakrawala menyambangi Wakil Dekan III, Nurfadilla di Ruang Akademik, ia mempunyai alasan tersendiri, menurutnya terlambatnya administrasi dan pelayanan yang ada, akibat Fakultas Hukum yang baru memilih dekan baru. Sehingga masih perlu pembenahan.
Tidak tertibnya sistem dan cerminan kinerja birokrasi di Fakultas Hukum, membuat Ayi salah satu mahasiswa angkatan 2011, menganggap Fakultas Hukum tak serius memperbaiki sistem yang ada.
“tiap semester begini terus, mau urus kartu kontrol, mau urus KHS, mau ambil jadwal kuliah, urus administrasi apapun, selalu lambat. Tidak hanya lambat, birokrasi yang ada betul-betul setengah hati melayani mahasiswanya. Silahkan saja lihat. Kalau sistemnya pernah dievaluasi, tidak mungkin berulang seperti ini” pungkasnya.
Tidak seperti Fakultas Hukum dengan masalah administrasinya yang terus berulang, beberapa fakultas-fakultas lain telah menyelesaikan penyusunan jadwal kuliah dan kartu kontrol untuk mahasiswanya, diantaranya Fakultas Farmasi, Teknologi Industri, dan terlebih lagi Fakultas Pertanian yang disiplin dalam memulai perkuliahan tepat waktu.
Tentunya ini menjadi sebuah pekerjaan rumah yang harus segera diselesaikan dekan baru Fakultas Hukum yang beberapa waktu lalu terpilih. Tentunya kita semua berharap bahwa pimpinan baru dengan wajah baru dan tentunya gagasan baru dalam memperbaiki persoalan lama yang sampai saat ini belum terselesaikan.
