IPMIL Raya UMI Tuntut Agar Pelaku Tragedi Amarah Segera Di Ungkap

Makassar,Cakrawalaide.com- Senin, (25/4/22) Ikatan Pelajar Mahasiswa Indonesia Luwu Raya Universitas Muslim Indonesia (IPMIL RAYA UMI) melakukan aksi unjuk rasa di Kampus II UMI dalam rangka memperingati Tragedi April Makassar Berdarah 1996 (AMARAH 1996) yang Setiap tahun diperingati oleh Mahasiswa UMI.
Salah satu tuntutan massa aksi yakni “Mendesak Rezim Jokowi mengusut tuntas pelaku pelanggaran HAM tragedi AMARAH 1996”.
Yandi, Ketua Umum IPMIL Raya UMI sekaligus Jendral Lapangan mengungkapkan bahwa hingga saat ini tidak ada upaya dari negara untuk memberikan keadilan bagi para korban.
“Sampai saat ini belum ada upaya dari negara untuk menegakkan keadilan para syuhada yang gugur. Disebut keadilan jika pemerintah berhasil mengungkap dalang dan memberikan efek jera,” ungkapnya.
Ia juga menambahkan bahwa Pelaku hingga dalang dari tragedi ini belum terungkap. Ia menganggap bahwa jika pelanggaran semacam ini tidak terungkap, maka tidak akan tercipta keamanan di tengah masyarakat.
“Karena hingga hari ini para pelaku pelanggar itu belum jua terungkap, padahal ini adalah kasus kejahatan yang semestinya para pelaku diberi efek jera sehingga ada contoh bagi yang lain.
Jika kasus ini belum juga terungkap tentang siapa dalangnya, bisa saya pastikan tidak akan tercipta keamanan di tengah-tengah masyarakat. Sebab terjadi pelanggaran namun tidak ada upaya dari pemerintah untuk mengusutnya,” tambahnya.
Lebih lanjut, Kordinator Lapangan, Ilham mengungkapkan bahwa harusnya timbul tanda tanya besar, kemana para aparat penegak hukum? Mengingat Indonesia merupakan negara hukum yang identik dengan asas equality before the law.
“Negara kita adalah negara hukum yang menganut asas “equality before the law” yang dimana asas tersebut menegaskan bahwa setiap warga negara bersamaan kedudukannya dimata hukum dan dengan tidak ada pengecualian. Nah dari situ bisa kita simpulkan bahawa pelanggaran yang terjadi dalam tragedi amarah tersebut perlu dipertanyakan, kemana para penegak hukum hingga saat ini? Kenapa mereka bungkam, ataukah bisa saja mereka adalah pelaku dari tragedi ini,” ungkapnya.
ia juga menganggap bahwa isu ini merupakan isu yang sangat Urgent untuk terus di suarakan.
“Isu ini sangatlah urgent, karena hingga saat ini pihak dari penegak hukum, ataupun pihak dari pelaku tersebut belum angkat bicara terkait tragedi AMARAH ini,” tuturnya.
Ia juga menambahkan bahwa pelaku yang terlibat dari tragedi ini kemungkinan besar berasal dari instansi aparat penegak hukum itu sendiri
“Saya rasa para pelaku ini sangatlah jelas berasal dari instansi tersebut,” tambahnya.
Pada akhir wawancara ia juga mengungkapkan bahwa IPMIL Raya UMI akan terus mengkawal isu ini.
“Saya rasa dari teman-teman IPMIL raya UMI akan terus mengkawal isu ini sampai kapanpun, sampai pihak pelaku maupun penegak hukum angkat bicara terkait tragedi AMARAH, Sampai benar-benar ditemukan benang merah terkait tragedi ini.” ungkapnya.
Lanjut, sebagai penutup ia juga menuturkan mengenai upaya IPMIL Raya UMI untuk terus memperkenalkan tragedi ini kepada Mahasiswa Baru.
“Maka dari itu setiap tahun, ketika kami mempunyai kader baru di IPMIL Raya UMI kami selalu memberikan pemahaman terkait tragedi AMARAH. Agar tongkat estafet perjuangan terus berjalan. Karena melihat dari pihak kampus kita sendiri terkadang berupaya melupakan sejarah yang pernah terjadi di kampusnya sendiri,” Tutupnya.
