KABAMAFATEK-UMI Desak Kapolri dan Mekopolhukam Mundur
Makassar, cakrawalaide.com – Keluarga Besar Mahasiswa Fakultas Teknik Universitas Muslim Indonesia (KABAMAFATEK-UMI) menggelar aksi demonstrasi mendesak agar Kepolisian Republik Indonesia (KAPOLRI) dan Menko Politik Hukum dan Keamanan (MENKOPOLHUKAM) turun dari jabatan, akibat kerusuhan yang terjadi pada 22 Mei yang mengakibatkan 8 orang meninggal serta 730 orang luka-luka di berbagai daerah Indonesia. Jl. Urip Sumoharjo, depan Kampus II UMI, Senin (27/5/2019).
Selaku Jenlap Rahim Syahrabi mengungkapkan, adanya korban yang berjatuhan tidak lepas dari tindakan refresif aparat kepolisian, dan pemerintah yang tidak peduli terhadap HAM.
“Meninggalnya 8 orang dan 730 orang dalam aksi 22 Mei yang diakibatkan refresif pihak kepolisian dan bentuk ketidak pedulian pemerintah terhadap HAM, seharusnya penanganan dilakukan sesuai dengan SOP penanganan aksi,” tegas Rahim.
Lanjut, Rahim juga menambahkan bahwa kejadian ini merupakan sejarah kelam di Indonesia, Pemilu yang menghasilkan malapetaka, serta sikap pemerintah seakan tidak menanggapi serius meninggalnya korban.
“Kami mahasiswa FT menuntut agar kiranya KAPOLRI dan Menkopolhukam harus bertangung jawab atas kejadian ini, dan mereka harus turun dari jabatannya, serta pihak komnas HAM mengusut tuntas pelanggaran HAM dalam kerusuhan 22 Mei 2019,” tambahnya.
Fahmi Sambila selaku Ketua Senat FT-UMI mengungkapkan bahwa aksi tersebut sebagai respons terhadap penyelenggara pemilu.
“Aksi ini sebagai bentuk respon terhadap seluruh penyelenggara Negara yang tidak becus menjalankan tugasnya, tidak ada toleransi terhadap kesalahan prosedural yang sudah menelan ratusan korban jiwa, baik itu sebelum mapun sesudah Pilpres 2019,” tutupnya.
Aksi tersebut berjalan damai, serta diakhiri dengan pembacaan sumpah mahasiswa.
