Himikom UMI Jalin Silaturahmi dan Berbagi Lewat Gradasi
Makassar, cakrawalaide.com. Himpunan Mahasiswa Ilmu Komunikasi (HIMIKOM) Univesitas Muslim Indonesia (UMI) adakan kegiatan Gebyar Ramadhan Komunikasi (Gradasi), di At Rooftop (Mesjid Baiturahim Nipah mall), Jl.Urip Sumoharjo, Senin (20/05/2019).
Dengan mengangkat tema “Satukan Nurani Silaturahmi Penuh Kasih Dibulan Suci Ramadan bersama Ilmu Komunikasi UMI”. Ketua umum Himikom mengatakan bahwa dengan adanya kegiatan Gradasi bisa mengalirkan nilai-nilai positif untuk seluruh keluarga Himikom UMI.
“Kegiatan Gradasi ini selain mengeratkan tali silaturahmi sesama keluarga Himikom, juga dapat mengalirkan nilai-nilai positif untuk semua orang, khususnya mahasiswa ilmu komunikasi,” tutur Arya saat memberikan sambutan.
Peserta dari kegiatan Gradasi ini selain mahasiswa Himikom ada dari Panti Asuhan Yayasan Bustanul Islamiyyah, seluruh SMA di Makassar. Selain itu kegiatan ini juga dinilai bisa membantu mengenalkan jurusan Ilmu Komunikasi kepada siswa(i) SMA yang akan menempuh studi ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi.
Ketua Prodi Ilmu Komunikasi, DR. Hadawiah SE. Msi berharap dengan adanya kegiatan Himikom pada bulan suci ramadhan ini akan membawa berkah.
“Dengan adanya kegiatan ini, tentu saja akan membawa berkah tersendiri apalagi berbagi kepada anak yatim, sehingga menumbuhkan nilai-nilai Islam agar diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari,” ujar Hadawiah saat diwawancarai.
Beliau juga menambahkan harapannya kedepan agar kegiatan seperti ini bisa terus diadakan oleh himpunan.
“Tentu juga kegiatan ini direspon baik oleh pengurus panti asuhan yang berharap agar kegiatan ini selalu dilaksanakan setiap tahun dan tentu berterima kasih banyak kepada Himikom yang telah melaksanakan kegiatan Gradasi ini,” tambahnya.
Sambil menunggu waktu berbuka puasa, acara pun diisi dengan games pembacaan surah-surah pendek oleh peserta anak yatim, dan tanya jawab soal keagamaan untuk siswa SMA. Kemudian mendengarkan ceramah oleh Ustaz Akram, mengenai media komunikasi untuk dakwah.
Dimana media sosial sekarang seperti Instagram, menurutnya bisa dijadikan sebagai media untuk berdakwah dan menebarkan kebaikan kepada seluruh umat dan jadikan bulan Ramadan ini sebagai bulan untuk selalu bertaubat kepada Allah.
Setelah buka puasa bersama kemudian dilanjutkan dengan salat magrib berjamaah, lalu pemberian cendera mata dari Himikom kepada panti asuhan Yayasan Bustanul Islamiah dan foto bersama dengan pengurus Himikom serta dosen-dosen Ilmu Komunikasi UMI.
