Kawal Kasus Pemukulan, Aliansi Mahasiswa ILKOM Gelar Aksi

Makassar, Cakrawalaide.com – Aliansi Mahasiswa Ilmu Komunikasi, menggelar aksi tuntutan terkait kasus pemukulan yang dialami oleh Ketua Prodi (Kaprodi) Ilmu Komunikasi (ILKOM), Fakultas Sastra, Universitas Muslim Indonesia (FS UMI). Aksi ini dilakukan di depan Menara UMI, Senin (01/03/2021).
Menurut Nurul, selaku humas Aliansi Mahasiswa ILKOM, aksi ini digelar untuk mengawal kasus pemukulan yang sementara diperkarakan di Komisi Disiplin (Komdis) UMI.
“Aksi ini dalam rangka mengawal hasil Komdis, terhadap kekerasan yang menimpa Hadawiah dosen sekaligus Kaprodi ILKOM,” ungkapnya.
Selain itu, Nurul juga menambahkan, “Kami Aliansi Mahasiswa ILKOM membawa 5 tuntutan yaitu, agar kampus menangkap pelaku kekerasan, kampus jangan sampai melindungi pelaku, dan kami mengutuk keras tindakan kekerasan terhadap perempuan, copot oknum dosen dari jabatannya, serta kampus agar mewujudkan demokrasi,” jelasnya.
Di sisi lain, Wakil Raktor (WR) III UMI menyampaikan bahwa tuntutan Aliansi Mahasiswa ILKOM ini, sudah diproses dan akan disampaikan hasil putusan tersebut, Selasa (02/03/2021) besok.
“Tuntutan adek-adek ini sudah dilakukan, Insya Allah besok kepastian hasilnya,” kata Nasrullah selaku WR III.
Lebih lanjut, Ia juga menjelaskan bahwa siapapun yang melakukan pelanggaran di UMI, akan dikenakan sanksi sesuai prosedur yang berlaku.
“Siapapun yang melakukan pelanggaran akan dikenakan sanksi sesuai peraturan nomor 2 UMI,” tutur Nasrullah.
Selian itu, WR III juga berharap Kampus mengeluarkan keputusan yang adil. “Kami sangat berharap agar kampus dapat mengeluarkan keputusan yang seadil-adilnya terkait kasus pemukulan ini,” harapnya.
Saat dikonfirmasi diwaktu berbeda, La Ode Husen selaku Komisi Etik menjelaskan, memang terdapat pelanggaran dari kasus tersebut, dan bukti pelanggaran telah dilimpahkan ke Komdis.
“Putusannya sudah selesai, komisi etik tidak berhak memberikan sanksi, komisi etik hanya membuktikan bahwa ada pelanggaran etik yang di lakukan,” jelasnya.
lanjut, Ia menambahkan, Komisi Etik hanya punya hak menetapkan pelanggaran telah dilakukan. Namun, hak pengambilan keputusan, menjadi kewenangan Komdis.
“Semua keputusan ada pada komisi disiplin dan itu ada pada rektor sebagai kepala Komdis,” tutupnya.
