LPMH Unhas : Layar Solidaritas Untuk Lombok ‘Made In Siberut’
Makassar, cakrawalaide.com – Lembaga Pers Mahasiswa Hukum (LPMH) Unhas bekerja sama dengan Watchdoc Documentary menggelar Layar Solidaritas Untuk Lombok melalui pemutaran film “Made In Siberut” sebagai kegiatan donasi untuk gempa yang sampai saat ini terus terjadi di Lombok.
Film Made In Siberut merupakan film ke 11 dari rangkaian perjalanan ekspedisi Indonesia Biru. Dalam kegiatan bedah film yang diselenggarakan di pelataran H1 Fakultas Hukum Unhas menghadirkan pembicara Mohammad Maulana, Advokat Lembaga Bantuan Hukum (LBH) Makassar, Jum’at, 31/8.
Dalam pembukaannya Mohammad Maulana menerangkan tentang hukum simbiosis mutualisme antara masyarakat mentawai khususnya pulau siberut dengan kekayaan alamnya.
“Masyarakat adat dengan hutan tidaklah bisa dilepas pisahkan, hutan menyediakan segala keperluan hidup dan dilain sisi masyarakat adat bertanggungjawab menjaga keanekaragaman hayati yang ada dalam hutan,” ujarnya.
Lanjut Advokat LBH Makassar tersebut ia sangat menyayangkan terkait maraknya aktivitas eksploitasi hutan yang mengakibatkan kerusakan lingkungan berbuntut pada perampasan ruang hidup masyarakat adat.
Hal senada juga dipaparkan oleh panitia penyelenggara, Hasbi menjelaskan perihal ketimpangan program pemerintah yang tidak sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat dan terkesan ada pemaksaan.
“Mereka dipaksa memilih beras sebagai makanan pokok, sementara nenek moyang mengajarkan makan sagu. Mereka dipaksa menanam tanpa adanya saluran irigasi yang difasilitasi oleh pemerintah, secara perlahan masyarakat Si Berut kehilangan pangan lokal,” tuturnya.
Untuk diketahui, Pimpinan Umum LPMH, Fitri mengatakan bahwa hasil donasi dari kegiatan ini akan disumbangkan secara keseluruhan ke Lombok. Untuk memassifkan layar solidaritas untuk Lombok ini LPMH juga membuka donasi melalui No. Rekening BRI a/n Fitriani : 070301031905508.
“Open Donation digelar hingga 2 September 2018, kami berharapnya agar banyak yang terlibat lagi untuk solidaritas lombok”, tutup PU LPMH.
