Mahasiswa Bantah Tudingan Warek I UKI Paulus Makassar di Media

Makassar, Cakrawalaide.com – Empat ketua Badan Ekskutif Mahasiswa (BEM) Universitas Kristen Indonesia (UKI) Paulus bantah pernyataan dari Yoel Pasae selaku Wakil Rektor (WR) 1 Bidang Akademik dan Pengembangan, yang mengatakan bahwa Peraturan Rektor tentang Organisasi Kemahasiswaan (PR Ormawa) telah mendapat kesepakatan dari perwakilan mahasiswa, Kamis (30/1/2020).
Berdasarkan pemberitaan di media Kumparan, Yoel Pasae mempersoalkan aksi-aksi mahasiswa menuntut penghapusan PR Ormawa. Dalam pernyataannya, WR 1 tersebut menyebutkan bahwa aturan yang ditolak mahasiswa telah diberlakukan sejak tahun 2015 dan mendapat kesepakatan dari 4 ketua BEM saat Rapat Kerja Universitas.
“Kami sudah berkali-kali dialog dengan mahasiswa, bahkan sepanjang tahun kita lakukan dialog tentang aturan organisasi kemahasiswaan (Ormawa) itu, tetapi mahasiswa tetap ngotot menginginkan agar tidak perlu mempersyaratkan IPK. Bahkan dari tahun 2015 sudah disepakati bersama, di mana untuk menjadi pengurus kelembagaan standar IPK-nya 3,0. Hal itu kan sudah berjalan. Tidak hanya itu sejak Rapat Kerja, bahkan Raker Mei 2019 lalu juga kita sudah bahas bersama bidang kemahasiswaan mulai dari tingkat Program Studi, Fakultas. Itu pun kami sempat bersama mahasiswa membahasnya, di pra-raker malahan, di mana ada 4 Ketua BEM saat itu hadir saat Rapat kerja dan itu telah disepakati bersama,” ungkap Yoel Pasae dilansir dari Kumparan.
Menanggapi tudingan tersebut, 4 ketua BEM periode 2018-2019 mengecam keras pernyataan yang dilontarkan oleh WR 1 UKI Paulus itu. Diantaranya, Gibrail Lebang Langsa [Ketua BEM FE], Dedy Resky Pamean [BEM Fakultas Teknik], Dicky Saputra [BEM Fakultas Ilmu Komputer], dan Claire Fetronella Rante Allo [BEM Fakultas Hukum].
Dari pengakuan empat ketua lembaga, mereka membenarkan telah menghadiri Raker Universitas yang diselenggarakan di Hotel Misliana, Rantepao, Toraja (31/3/2019) lalu. Namun, mereka membantah adanya kesepakatan terkait aturan PR Ormawa.
Dedy Resky Pamean dan Gibrail Lebang Langsa saat ditemui langsung di salah satu kediaman mahasiswa yang diberi sanksi D.O, di jalan Biring Romang. Terkait Raker Universitas yang dimaksud, ketua BEM FT mengungkapkan bahwa Raker yang diadakan oleh pihak kampus tidak berjalan sesuai keinginan mahasiswa, sehingga ketua-ketua BEM sempat melakukan aksi Walk Out.
“Hak bicara mahasiswa sangat dibatasi dalam forum, sehingga pada saat kami mulai merasa kehadiran kami tidak dihargai, kami memutuskan untuk keluar dari forum,” ungkap Dedy sapaan akrabnya.
Lebih jauh, Dedy menjelaskan dalam forum Raker itu, tidak terdapat pembahasan mengenai PR Ormawa. Ia juga membantah pernyataan Yoel Pasae di media. Menurutnya dalam Raker yang berlangsung, hanya membahas mengenai masalah administratif kelembagaan.
“Tidak ada itu pembahasan soal IPK dan semester dalam pleno Raker, yang ada hanya pembahasan hasil-hasil SOP (standar operasional prosedural) yang telah di buat oleh masing-masing komisi. Contohnya tentang pencairan anggaran dan peminjaman fasilitas. Jadi raker yang dilaksanakan di Toraja kemarin, tidak pernah menghasilkan kesepakatan seperti yang dibahasakan oleh WR 1,” tambahnya.
Senada dengan itu, Gibrail Lebang Langsa, demisioner Ketua FE, juga tidak membenarkan adanya kesepakatan ketua BEM pada saat Raker Universitas. Menurutnya, pernyataan WR 1 di media adalah upaya untuk meredam masalah kasus kekerasan akademik 28 mahasiswa UKI Paulus yang diberhentikan secara sepihak. Gibrail menilai, kampus coba menciptakan konflik horizontal dengan membenturkan mahasiswa dengan lembaga.
“Kampus coba mencari kambing hitam untuk melemahkan persatuan mahasiswa agar menutupi masalah D.O yang ada di kampus,” ujarnya.
Hal serupa juga disampaikan oleh Dicky Saputra, membantah peryantaan WR 1 yang mengatakan dirinya (Dicky Saputra) telah menyepakati aturan standar IPK dan semester, nyatanya ia tidak pernah menyepakati aturan tersebut.
“Sama sekali tidak pernah menyetujui atau menyepakati aturan Ormawa tersebut, hingga kami mengambil tindakan Walk Out dari forum karena kami merasa tidak dihargai,” terang Dicky.
Sementara itu, demisioner ketua BEM FH, Claire Fetronella Rante Allo yang juga tidak menerima pernyataan itu dan menuntut birokrasi agar dapat menerapkan prinsip demokrasi di kampus UKI Paulus.
“Seolah-olah kemerdekaan dan kebebasan berlembaga terlalu diakomodir oleh birokrasi. Harusnya sebagai institusi pendidikan kampus lebih mengedepankan komunikasi dan dialog daripada mencari kambing hitam untuk sebuah aturan yang tidak pernah disepakati bersama,” tuturnya.
Sebagaimana dikutip dari Kumparan, Yoel Pasae, menyebut aturan tersebut [PR Ormawa] telah berlaku sejak tahun 2015. Pernyataan ini kembali dibantah oleh demisioner Presiden Mahasiswa periode 2015-2016, Mozes Pangadongan. PR Ormawa dianggap telah menjadi polemik mahasiswa untuk berlembaga sejak masa kepengurusannya, hingga kini
“Tahun 2015 BEM Universitas juga menentang aturan itu, dari sinilah awal perjuangan Ormawa di UKI Paulus dan menjadi agenda perjuangan mahasiswa hingga berujung D.O 28 mahasiswa yang melakukan aksi protes terhadap aturan tersebut,” tegas Mozes.
“Intinya bahwa [tahun 2015] tidak ada kesepakatan antara Ormawa dan pimpinan kampus mengenai aturan itu, kalaupun ada maka saya secara pribadi menantang WR 1 untuk menunjukkan bukti dalam bentuk apapun,” tutup demisioner Presma UKI Paulus itu.
