Aliansi Juru Parkir Makassar Menolak Parkir Elektronik

Makassar, Cakrawalaide.com – Aliansi Juru Parkir Makassar menolak pemasangan Alat Parkir Elektronik dan menuntut pencabutan Terminal Parkir Elektronik (TPE). Hal ini disampaikan dalam Konferensi Pers di kantor Lembaga Bantuan Hukum (LBH) Makassar, Jl. Pelita Raya, Jumat (21/2/2020).
Sebelumnya, pada Rabu (12/02) Perusahaan Daerah (PD) Parkir Makassar Raya mengundang Juru Parkir (Jukir) untuk memberitahukan terkait rencana pemasangan Alat Parkir Elektronik, yang akan di pasang pada 182 titik, yakni titik parkir yang ada di Jl. Pengayoman dan Jl. Boulevard. Rencana tersebut mendapat penolakan dari Jukir, lantaran disinyalir sangat merugikan bagi nasib jukir di lapangan.
“Kita melakukan audiensi di PD Parkir, perihal penolakan peralatan parkir elektronik itu,” ujar Petrus, perwakilan dari Serikat Juru Parkir Makassar.
Belum selesai persoalan swastanisasi dalam bentuk Terminal Parkir Elektronik (TPE), yang telah diberlakukan di Jl. Penghibur, Somba Opu, dan Kartini yang dianggap terbukti justru berdampak buruk terhadap Jukir. Sekarang akan dipasang lagi Alat Parkir Elektronik di 182 titik parkir.
“Waktu belum ada yang namanya Parkir Elektronik ini, istriku tidak pernah kubolehkan kerja karena cukup mi penghasilan, tapi sekarang nabantuka kerja,” ungkap Udin, salah satu jukir beroperasi di Jl. Penghibur.
Lanjut, “Intinya kenapa kami tolak Parkir Eletronik ini karena dampak yang sudah ada terhadap kami sudah jelas, karena tidak ada kesejahteraan untuk kami, tidak ada peningkatan hidup buat kami.” peluhnya.
Sementara itu, menurut Khaedir selaku Wakil Direktur LBH Makassar menanggapi persoalan perparkiran ini, mestinya ada koordinasi dan kesepakatan bersama antar jukir dan PD Parkir Makassar Raya.
“Padahal yang membuka lahan parkir itu bukan PD Parkir,” jelasnya.
“Paling penting pembagiannya harus jelas dan disepakati secara bersama antara jukir dan PD parkir,” tutupnya.
