Mahasiswa FAI-UMI Keluhkan Perkuliahan Pada Hari Libur Tahun Baru
Makassar, Cakrawalaide.com – Mahasiswa Fakultas Agama Islam (FAI) program studi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab (PBA) Universitas Muslim Indonesia (UMI) angkatan 2018 semester ganjil, keluhkan kinerja dosen memindahkan jadwal perkuliahan dinilai merugikan mahasiswa, Kampus II UMI, Selasa (2/1/2019).
Menurut pengakuan salah satu mahasiswa PBA yang berinisial MH mengatakan kaget, dan merasa dirugikan kebijakan oknum dosen yang memindahkan jadwal perkuliahan di hari libur.
“Sebagian teman-teman lagi beristirahat dan ada juga yang lagi menikmati hari libur tahun baru bersama keluarganya di kampung, kasihan teman-teman yang sudah di kampung nya terpaksa terburu-buru ke Makassar karena tiba-tiba dipindahkan jadwal kuliah hari ini,” ujarnya.
MH juga sangat menyayangkan kebijakan oknum dosen, yang memindahkan perkuliahan diluar Kampus. “kasihan teman-teman yang tidak ada kendaraannya, dan ongkos ojol ke jalan Onta dari kampus saja kisaran Rp. 25.000, padahal banyaknya lagi ruangan belajar di gedung FAI dan juga komunikasi nya cuman ke ketua tingkat saja melalui telfon,” tambahnya.
Diketahui oknum dosen yang mengajarkan mata kuliah Dasar-dasar Filsafat, Bambang Sampurno mengatakan sudah melakukan komunikasi melalui ketua tingkatnya.
“Saya awalnya menawarkan (via telfon) beberapa waktu, salah satunya di tanggal 1, ternyata mayoritas mengiyakan melalui ketua tingkatnya,” jelasnya.
Lebih lanjut, menanyakan terkait alasan pemindahan jadwal serta tempat perkuliahan, Bambang Sampurno hanya memberikan komentar nya. “Temui maki ketua tingkat nya nanda yah,” ujar dosen ditirukan mahasiswa.
Menanggapi masalah ini, pengurus lembaga Ketua 1 Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa (BEM) yang mengurusi bagian internal, Ia sangat menyayangkan sikap oknum dosen tersebut.
“Harusnya dosen juga harus objektif lah kalau pindahkan jadwal kuliah, masa menawarkan perkuliahan dihari libur, dan juga ketua tingkatnya harus tegas, dan komunikasi ke teman-teman nya harus diperbaiki”, ucap Fahri Fajar.
Ia juga menyarankan agar oknum dosen harus profesional dalam menjalankan tanggung jawabnya, dan menegaskan akan terus menindak lanjuti masalah ini.
“Seharusnya dosen memberi contoh yang baik, jangan malas masuk mengajar, jadinya kayak gini, mendekati minggu ujian final baru ngebut-ngebutan kejar mata pelajaran yang tertinggal,” tutup Fahri.
