Mahasiswa UMI : WR III Tak Menepati Janji
Makassar, cakrawalaide.com – Aliansi Mahasiswa UMI menggelar Yasinan di depan Pintu gerbang Universitas Muslim Indonesia (UMI), untuk mengenang ketiga korban April Makassar Berdarah (AMARAH), Kampus II UMI, Selasa (24/4).
Dalam pembacaan Surah Yasin yang dipimpin oleh Muhammad Firman berjalan secara Khusyu, meskipun dilakukan tanpa ada pengawalan dari pihak birokrasi Kampus UMI.
Lanjut, Firman mengatakan, “Hari ini kita bisa melihat sikap kampus yang tidak membolehkan kita untuk menggelar Yasinan di mesjid Umar bin Khattab,” ucapnya.
Selaku Wakil Rektor III, Achmad Gani mengharapkan “untuk menyampaikan aspirasi tidak mengganggu kepentingan masyarakat,” harapannya.
Lanjut, Achmad Gani menambahkan akan menemani kemanapun mahasiswa.
Menurut salah satu peserta Yasinan, Mansyur mengatakan “tadi WR 3 bilang siap mengawal, dan menemani kemanapun mahasiswa, tapi pada kenyataannya Ayah Gani tidak ada dalam Yasinan,” tegasnya.
“saya pribadi kecewa dengan Ayah Gani, karena tidak menemani kami dalam Yasinan,” tutupnya.
