Melalui Pagelaran Seni UPKSBS-UMI Peringati AMARAH
Makassar, Cakrawalaide.com — Memperingati April Makassar Berdarah (AMARAH), Unit Pengembangan Kreativitas Seni Budaya dan Sastra (UPKSBS) Universitas Muslim Indonesia (UMI) suguhkan pagelaran seni, tepat di persimpangan antara Fakultas Kedokteran dan Pertanian, kampus II UMI, Jum’at (26/04/2019).
Aksi dengan bentuk pagelaran seni ini telah dilakukan UPKSBS UMI sejak tahun 1999, sebagai bentuk penghormatan bagi senior-senior yang telah gugur dan terlibat dalam peristiwa itu (AMARAH).
“Ini kita lakukan penghormatan bagi senior-senior kami yang telah gugur pada peristiwa kemarin,” ujar John, anggota UPKSBS UMI yang turut terlibat dalam pagelaran seni tersebut.
Hal ini telah menjadi agenda rutin tahunan, menurut mereka bahwa UPKSBS UMI itu lahir dari spirit Amarah itu sendiri, maka adanya pagelaran seni ini sekaligus untuk menjaga spirit Amarah.
“Ya agenda rutin ji dari dulu, karna UPKSBS UMI itu lahir dari spirit Amarah ji juga,” Ujar Alif, selaku Ketua Umum UPKSBS UMI.
Lanjut, Alif menambahkan, spirit Amarah itu sendiri yang mendorong teman-teman dari UPKSBS UMI terus berkarya.
“Kami menjaga spirit Amarah dan memang spirit Amarah juga yang bisa bangunki teman-teman untuk terus berkarya sampai sekarang,” tambahnya.
Pagelaran seni yang dilakukan UPKSBS UMI ini dimulai dengan arak-arakan oleh enam (6) orang yang memakai kostum hitam dengan make-up wajah menyerupai hantu, diiringi oleh dua (2) orang penari dan empat (4) orang yang memainkan alat musik tradisional Makassar, dimulai dari sekretariat UPKSBS UMI berjalan menuju tugu Amarah untuk memberikan penghormatan.
Kemudian berjalan menuju persimpangan antara Fakultas Kedokteran dan Pertanian untuk melakukan pagelaran seni berupa live mural, live music, teatrikal puisi dan penandatanganan petisi menolak lupa Amarah.
