Listrik Padam Hambat Kegiatan UKM di UMI

Makassar, Cakrawalaide.com – Sejumlah UKM mengeluh lantaran listrik padam di area Kompleks Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM) UMI yang terjadi sejak 9 Maret 2021, kondisi ini dianggap menghambat kegiatan-kegiatan UKM.
Saat dikonfirmasi terkait padamnya listrik di kompleks UKM, Nasrullah selaku Wakil Rektor III (WR III) UMI menjelaskan surat edaran Rektor tentang pembatasan aktivitas civitas akademika hanya sampai pukul 14.00 WITA.
“Ini kan ada surat edaran Rektor yang mengatakan kegiatan kampus di batasi hanya sampai jam 2 jadi biar UKM, jangankan UKM semua pejabat kampus juga dilarang masuk,” jelasnya.
Saat ditanyai lebih lanjut tentang tidak adanya listrik di Kompleks UKM, ia hanya kembali menekankan agar surat edaran tersebut dituruti, padahal selain pembatasan waktu berkegiatan, padamnya listrik juga sangat berdampak pada aktivitas masing-masing UKM.
Ditemui di Sekretariatnya, Bara selaku Dewan Penasehat Organisasi UKM Taekwondo menjelaskan sejak listrik padam kegiatan di sekretariat menjadi terhambat padahal banyak kegiatan yang akan UKM ini lakukan.
“Kalo ada kegiatan nda ada listrik sekret gelap, apalagi disini panas, kipas jadi tidak jalan, kalo ada rapat bahkan bisa-bisa tidak terlaksana,” jelasnya.
Ardi Ketua Umum UKM Unit Pengembangan Seni Budaya dan Sastra (UPKSBS) UMI juga menyampaikan bahwa proses latihan, pengembangan serta kegiatan organisasional lainnya menjadi terhambat.
“Padamnya lampu ini meresahkan sekali. Kita di UKM Seni itu banyak proses kaya’ latihan, organisasi, sangat terkendala mengenai proker, tidak ada tempat yang paten apa lagi,” terangnya.
Ardi menambahkan sejauh ini ia belum mengetahui alasan padamnya listrik yang terjadi di kompleks UKM.
“Belum ki juga bicara sama orang orang toh, hanya sebatas tanya-tanya sama satpam dan ternyata satpam juga tidak tau, tidak ada juga kejelasan sampai kapan ini (listrik padam),” tambahnya.
Ardi berharap agar kondisi ini yang menghambat organisasi ini tidak berlarut-larut.
“Berharap skali bisa nyala lagi listrik, karena proses organisasi sangat terkendala jangan sampai berlarut-larut.”.
