Rayakan IWD, Fosis Kembali Angkat Isu Kekerasan Seksual di Kampus UMI

Makassar, Cakrawalaide.com- Dalam Rangka merayakan International Women’s Day (IWD) Forum Isu-isu strategis (Fosis) dan Sejumlah Mahasiswa Universitas Muslim Indonesia (UMI) melakukan aksi yang mengangkat isu kekerasan seksual yang akhir-akhir ini tengah marak dibicarakan Di UMI. Aksi ini dilakukan di depan Kampus II UMI pada selasa, (08/02/2022)
Membahas mengenai isu kekerasan seksual, tentu saja tidak hanya dialami oleh perempuan saja, namun hingga sekarang perempuan menjadi kelompok yang paling rentan menjadi korban.
Maraknya isu kekerasan seksual yang dibicarakam di UMI merupakan reaksi dari berita pelecehan seksual yang diterbitkan Cakrawalaide.com pada awal bulan Februari tahun ini. Cerita mengenai Alya yang dilecehkan seniornya menjadi perbincangan utama dari berbagai kalangan. Mulai dari civitas akademik, mahasiswa, hingga mace-mace yang berjualan di lingkungan kampus.
“Weh siapa itu kah yang di lecehkan? dari fakultas mana?” ungkapan dari salah satu mahasiswa saat sedang makan di kantin fakultas.
Berangkat dari sana, Fosis mulai mengkawal isu tersebut hingga “Segera terapkan permendikbudristek no 30 tahun 2021 di kampus UMI” menjadi tuntutan utama dari aksi yang dilakukan hari ini.
Petaka-petaka yang dibawa oleh massa aksi juga turut berperan menjadi sindiran halus kepada mahasiswa dan civitas akademisi yang menyaksikan para massa aksi berkeliling berteriak menuntut keadilan bagi korban atau penyintas di Kampus UMI.
Menurut Nana, Humas sekaligus massa aksi mengatakan bahwa hingga sekarang belum ada tindak lanjut dari pihak birokrasi kampus UMI mengenai berita yang beredar.
“Dari sejak berita itu terbit hingga sekarang belum ada tindak lanjut dari pihak birokrasi kampus umi,” katanya.
Sejalan dengan hal itu Nana mengakui bahwa pihak birokrasi kampus melakukan pencabutan terhadap petaka-petaka yang membahas mengenai kekerasan seksual kurang dari 24 jam setelah ditempelkan.
“Kami mendapati petaka-petaka tentang kekerasan seksual yang kami tempelkan di seluruh kampus umi di cabuti oleh pihak birokrasi,” ungkapnya.
lanjut, Laila hidayati, jendral lapangan (Jendlap) sekaligus kordinator isu perempuan dan anak Fosis, mengatakan bahwa pihak Fosis akan terus menuntut hingga birokrasi UMI melakukan penerapan terhadap permendikbudristek Nomor 30 tahun 2021.
“Kami akan terus mengawal dan melakukan dorongan hingga ayahanda dan ibunda itu mau menerapkan Permendikbud Nomor 30, agar mereka merespon terkait kekerasan seksual di UMI,”
ia juga berharap, UMI membentuk Satuan Tugas (Satgas) pengaduan yang siap mengatasi isu ini lebih lanjut.
“Lalu setelah Permendikbud ini diterapkan, kami berharap kampus juga segera menerapkan SOP dan kami juga mengharapkan setelah itu akan dibentuk satgas atau semacam komite kekerasan seksual yang nantinya akan menjadi tempat pengaduan bagi korban yang membutuhkan perlindungan,” jelasnya.
Laila juga berharap agar secepatnya pihak kampus membahas dan menindaklanjuti Permendikbud tersebut dan memberikan kepastian kepada seluruh masyarakat kampus.
“Kami butuh ruang aman di mana pun kami berada ketika berada di dalam kampus,” tutupnya.
