Tidak Melibatkan Mahasiswa, Keputusan Dekan FPIK-UMI Dianggap Tidak Sah

Makassar, Cakrawalaide.com – Beredar surat teguran keras yang diberikan kepada tiga mahasiswa Fakultas Perikanan dan Ilmu Kelautan (FPIK) Universitas Muslim Indonesia, menjadi perbincangan serius.

Fitro Akbar selaku salah satu dari dua mahasiswa yang namanya ikut tercantum dalam surat tersebut menganggap tindakan pihak birokrasi FPIK tidak dapat dibenarkan.

“Bagiku surat teguran yang dikeluarkan oleh dekan maupun jajarannya itu tidak sah,” ungkap Itho (sapaan akrab) kepada Cakrawalaide.com via WhatsApp, Kamis (21/11/2019).

Itho juga menjelaskan bahwa keputusan yang dikeluarkan pihak FPIK tidak melibatkan PLT (Pelaksana Tugas). Padahal, kata dia, PLT ingin memberikan penjelasan terkait diadakannya pemilihan ketua BEM/BLM tanpa diketahui oleh pihak fakultas.

“Klarifikasi hanya pak dekan sama WD III dan Tim Pokja saja nda ada pihak PLT,” tutur mahasiswa jurusan PSP itu.

Wakil ketua PLT itu juga mengaku, ia bersama dua temannya, A. Agus Saputra (ketua PLT) dan Zulkifli (sekretaris PLT), pada Rabu 20 November kemarin dipanggil oleh WD III. Namun, hanya ia dan Agus yang bertemu dengan WD III kemudian mereka diberikan surat teguran tersebut.

Diketahui Surat teguran tersebut buntut dari pemilihan ketua BEM/BLM FPIK-UMI pada 13 Oktober bulan lalu, yang memutuskan Herianto Suriadin sebagai formatur terpilih ketua BEM dan Muh. Taslim sebagai formatur terpilih ketua BLM. Namun, pemilihan tersebut dianggap tidak sah oleh WD III dan Tim Pokja, karena pemilihan dilakukan tanpa diketahui pihak fakultas.

Saat dihubungi oleh Cakrawalaide.com terkait surat tersebut, Dekan dan Wakil Dekan III FPIK-UMI tidak memberikan tanggapan.

Selaku formatur terpilih ketua BLM, Muhammad Taslim secara tegas menolak surat tersebut, dimana pada poin tiga dan empat dijelaskan bahwa semua keputusan yang dibuat oleh PLT saat pemilihan ketua BEM/BLM dinyatakan tidak sah dan membatalkan semua keputusan itu. Secara jelas dalam dua poin itu menyatakan kedua formatur terpilih dianggap tidak sah.

“Jelas tidak terima” singkat mahasiswa jurusan ilmu kelautan itu.

Lebih lanjut, ia juga menjelaskan bahwa pemilihan ketua BEM/BLM sudah dilakukan secara demokratis. Terkait permasalahan kriteria yang tidak sesuai dengan buku saku UMI, Aching (sapaan akrab) membeberkan bahwa pemilihan ketua BEM/BLM seharusnya sudah dilakukan saat mereka masih semester enam. Sehingga tidak melanggar kriteria yang ada di buku saku, tapi pemilihan itu tidak pernah terlaksana. Bahkan sudah ditunda sampai tiga kali oleh WD III.

“Disemester enam ini kita sudah siap semua mi ‘berkas,’ mau mi diadakan pemilihan dan berkas ku sudah terkumpul pada saat semester enam ka, tapi ada kejanggalan disitu, ditunda ‘pemilihan ketua’ sampai tiga kali. Terakhir dengan alasan disuruh urus mi dulu PKL (Praktek Kerja Lapang) mu nak” ungkap mahasiswa semester tujuh itu.

PLT telah berupaya untuk mengklarifikasi terkait permasalahan tersebut, mereka sempat bertemu dengan dekan dan wakil dekan III untuk menjelaskan alasan mereka mengadakan pemilihan ketua BEM/BLM tanpa diketahui pihak fakultas.

Itho mengaku surat teguran tersebut sudah ada sejak pertemuan itu, tapi belum ditandatangani oleh dekan dengan alasan apa yang disampaikan PLT berbeda dengan yang disampaikan Tim Pokja. Hasil pertemuan itu, dekan memutuskan untuk mengadakan rapat resmi antara PLT, Tim Pokja, Dekan, dan Wakil Dekan III untuk dengar pendapat. Namun, pertemuan itu gagal, karena Tim Pokja tidak bisa hadir saat hari H.

Diketahui Lembaga Mahasiswa (LEMA) BEM/BLM FPIK-UMI sempat dibekukan sejak 2016 lalu dengan SK pembekuan nomor :124/H.25/FKIP/UMI/V/2016. Selama masa pembekuan, mahasiswa FPIK-UMI telah mencoba berbagai cara untuk mengaktifkan kembali BEM/BLM, namun selalu mengalami kebuntuan.

Setelah melewati masa pembekuan yang begitu lama, akhirnya mahasiswa FPIK mendapat angin segar. Tim Pokja dibentuk yang beranggotakan dosen untuk mengaktifkan kembali Lembaga Mahasiswa BEM/BLM, dan pada bulan Mei 2019 Lembaga Mahasiswa BEM/BLM FPIK-UMI secara resmi dinyatakan aktif kembali dengan dikeluarkannya SK pengaktifan nomor 113/H.25/FPIK/UMI/V/2019.

Cakrawalaide.com berupaya menghubungi pihak fakultas untuk mengklarifikasi surat teguran tersebut. Namun, sampai tulisan ini diterbitkan, pihak FPIK-UMI belum memberikan keterangan apapun terkait surat tersebut.
