Makassar, Cakrawalaide.com – Wahana Lingkungan Hidup (WALHI) Sulsel menantang Dinas Lingkungan Hidup (DLH) Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan diskusikan persolan lingkungan

“Saya rasa perlu WALHI Sulsel bersama dengan Dinas Lingkungan Hidup mendiskusikan terkait permasalahan lingkungan di wilayah Sulawesi Selatan. Sehingga, kita bisa lihat data-data mana yang objektif berdasarkan fakta dan analisa terkait dampak pencemaran lingkungan,” ucap Ferdy pada Bincang Isu di Hotel Empress Makassar, Selasa (30/04/2019)

Diskusi yang diselenggarakan oleh Kompak SC FH-UMI dengan tema “Sulsel Membangun, Ekologi Meradang, Resolusi Sekarang Juga.” Pada kesempatan itu WALHI banyak menguak data terkait kerusakan lingkungan yang terjadi di wilayah Sulsel. Misalnya, tambang pasir laut di pesisir Takalar dan Galessong untuk keperluan reklamasi Center Point Of Indonesia (CPI)

Saat ditanya terkait persoalan izin tambang yang berakibat pada kerusakan lingkungan, pihak DLH menegaskan bahwa perizinan dikembalikan ke pemerintah provinsi

“Saya tahu terkait tambang pasir tersebut. Tapi, kemudian perizinan dikembalikan ke pemerintah provinsi. Dan perlu diklarifikasi tentang tambang pasir laut, bahwa pasir  yang diambil adalah pasir melayang saja bukan yang dikeruk,” ujarnya.

Sayangnya, saat akan dikonfirmasi lebih lanjut oleh awak cakrawalaide.com perihal perbedaan antara menyedot dan mengeruk pasir, perwakilan DLH telah lebih dulu meninggalkan forum diskusi.

Ketua Kompak SC, Noor Hidayat, berharap bahwa pendiskusian hari ini tidak sebatas membahas persoalan saja. Melainkan mampu melahirkan solusi konkrit

“Semoga diskusinya tidak hanya jadi sebatas pembahasan persoalan saja, melainkan mampu melahirkan solusi konkrit. Dan kedepannya, Kompak SC akan membuat kegiatan bakti sosial ataupun mengkampanyekan pengurangan penggunaan plastik, sebagai wujud dari solusi,” ungkapnya.
