Respon Pembangunan Sekret Tak Partisipatif, Aliansi UKM UMI Gelar Aksi

Makassar Cakrawalaide.com–Aliansi UKM UMI gelar aksi unjuk rasa sebagai respon penolakan atas pembangunan gedung sekretariat baru yang dinilai sangat tidak partisipatif yang berlangsung di depan pintu II universitas muslim Indonesia (UMI), Rabu (20/10/21).
Polemik pembangunan gedung baru sekretariat UKM berawal dari pemasangan spanduk yang bertuliskan “ InsyaAllah akan segera dibangunkan gedung UKM UMI ”, disusul dengan surat edaran perintah pengosongan sekretariat selambat-lambatnya hingga 23 september 2021 dengan Nomor: 496/F.08/BAKA-UMI/IX/2021 yang terbit pada tanggal 20 September 2021, berlanjut pada sabtu 16 Oktober 2021 terjadi pembongkaran secara paksa sekretariat UKM UMI dengan mengerahkan bantuan alat berat (excavator) serta petugas keamanan kampus bahkan terjadi tindak represifitas terhadap salah satu pengurus UKM UMI.
Nuga, selaku korlap aksi mengungkapkan bahwa aksi unjuk rasa tersebut adalah respon penolakan atas tindakan tidak demokratis kampus terhadap tuntutan mahasiswa terkait pembangunan gedung sekretariat, serta agar dibukanya ruang audiensi sebesar-besarnya.
“ Kami Meminta untuk pihak pemangku kebijakan terkait pembangunan atau siapapun yang terkait dengan kebijakan tersebut, untuk membuka audiensi untuk semua pihak yang terkait termasuk pihak ukm, selama audiensi belum digelar maka kami akan terus melakukan perlawanan. ”, ungkapnya.
Nuga juga mengungkapkan bahwa Aliansi UKM UMI telah mengajukan surat permintaan audiensi pertama namun ditolak oleh pihak WR III, atas dasar penolakan tersebut maka surat audiensi kedua pada hari ini langsung ditujukan kepada pihak rektorat.
“ Surat pertama diberikan ke WR III tapi ditolak tanpa alasan yang jelas bahkan hanya dibiarkan di atas meja, lalu hari ini surat kedua langsung dikirim ke rektorat tapi masih dalam proses menunggu respon, hal ini dilakukan karena kami menganggap WR III sudah tidak memiliki kapasitas”, tambahnya.
Hal serupa diungkapkan oleh Nirwan, selaku salah satu massa aksi bahwa pihak UKM telah beberapa kali ingin melakukan audiensi namun tidak mendapatkan tanggapan yang baik dari birokrasi bahkan terjadi tindak represif pada saat penggusuran secara paksa.
“ Sebenarnya persoalan perenovasian ini suatu tindakan yang baik namun tidak terjalinnya komunikasi yang baik antara pihak UKM dan birokrasi, yang justru memancing kita untuk bertindak premanisme,seolah mahasiswa coba dibenturkan oleh beberapa oknum artinya bahwa tindakan premanisme itu masih ada. Hal itu menjadi alasan kami untuk menolak keras penggusuran secara paksa, terlebih kami melihat itu suatu tindakan yang tidak mencerminkan seorang pelajar dan akademisi ”, ungkapnya.
Nirwan juga menambahkan, pihak birokrasi seharusnya melibatkan pihak UKM pada proses perencanaan dan pengawasan pembangunan gedung kesekretariatan karena hal tersebut adalah hak dari setiap warga UMI, mengingat kampus UMI adalah Yayasan wakaf.
“ Karena kampus UMI ini yayasan wakaf artinya UMI dan seluruh yang ada di dalamnya baik itu tanah, dan bangunan adalah milik seluruh warga UMI bukan milik pribadi atau milik birokrasi, namun birokrasi diberikan kewenangan untuk mengelolahnya dan mahasiswalah yang diberikan kewenangan untuk mengawasi tapi ini tidak terjadi di UMI, seolah -olah tindakan yang dilakukan birokrasi itu otoriter ”, tambahnya.
Massa aksi lain, Ardi mengungkapkan kekecewaannya terhadap penggusuran secara paksa yang dilakukan oleh pihak birokrasi namun di sisi lain ia juga mengecam keras tindakan represif tersebut.
“ Kondisi sekret pada saat itu masih ada alat-alat belajar sesuai dengan orientasi UKM kami yaitu seni, sementara itu masih ada kawan kami yang sedang tidur didalam sekret pada saat percobaan penggusuran terjadi , kami juga telah menyampaikan hal tersebut kepada kepala keamanan namun direspon dengan penuh arogansi, tindakan itu bukan hanya merugikan materil namun juga mengancam nyawa seseorang ”, tutupnya.
