UMI Kembali Larang Pedagang Berjualan di dalam Kampus

Makassar, Cakrawalaide.com – Para pedagang di kampus II Universitas Muslim Indonesia (UMI) dikejutkan dengan beredarnya surat dari Wakil Rektok (WR) II Tentang Pelarangan Berjualan di Dalam dan Sepanjang Lingkup Kampus II UMI Makassar Yang di terima pada tanggal 14/10/2021. Makassar, 15/10/2021.
Beredarnya SK nomor 2114/H.06/UMI/X/2021 yang di keluarkan oleh WR II UMI bidang Administrasi Umum, Keuangan dan Pengembangan Ketenagaan pada tanggal 14 Oktober 2021 ini menuai banyak polemik dari kalangan mahasiswa dan pedagang dilingkup kampus II UMI.
Di dalam surat tersebut berisikan bahwa tidak diperkenankannya berjualan di dalam maupun di sepanjang kampus II UMI, dan bagi para pedagang atau penjual yang menggunakan kendaraan agar segera mengosongkan atau membongkar tempat jualannya sendiri. Tidak sampai di situ surat tersebut juga menegaskan bahwa apabila para pedagang tidak mengindahkan hal tersebut maka pimpinan akan mengambil tindakan tegas dengan cara melakukan pembongkaran jualan.
Mace Samsiah salah satu pedagang saat di temui tempat jualannya mengutarakan perasaannya bahwa dia terkejut atas beredarnya surat yang di keluarkan oleh WR II “Iya saya juga kaget ini karna kita sudah lama skali jualan dsini baru di suruh ki berhenti menjual,” tuturnya.
Lanjut, ia juga mengungkapkan bahwasanya dia tidak takut akan hal tersebut dan akan terus tetap menjual karena UMI merupakan tempatnya untuk mencari rejeki.
“Saya tetap menjual, dimana lagi menjual kasian kalau bukan di UMI, saya tidak takut misalkan dia mau datang disini mengusir,” lanjutnya.
Di dalam surat tersebut tercantum alasan di keluarkannnya SK tersebut bahwa untuk menjaga kebersihan, keindahan, dan kelancaran kegiatan akademik di lingkup kampus UMI.
Mas Topo, Salah satu penjual bakso mengungkapkan bahwa dengan alasan kampus UMI melarang berdagang demi kelancaran akademik juga terheran-heran. “Saya ini menjual sudah 9 tahun, tanya mahasiswa kalau kami pedagang mengganggu aktivitas akademik,“ungkapnya.
Kustiaty Anies selaku ketua koperasi di konfirmasi tentang SK WR II, dia membenarkan hal tersebut dan mengakui bahwa semua pedagan kaki lima di dalam maupun di luar kampus UMI akan di berantas.
“Iya memang ada itu SK dari WR II, kita di suruh untuk memberantas semua itu karena sekarang semua itu di naungi UMI Ukhuwah Bisnis,”
Saat dihubungi oleh awak Cakrawalaide, WR II menolak untuk di wawancarai dengan alasan sedang ujian.
