KABAMAFATEK UMI Adakan Pemilihan Senat Periode 2022-2023

Makassar, Cakrawalaide.com – Lembaga Senat Mahasiswa Keluarga Besar Mahasiswa Fakultas Teknik Universitas Muslim Indonesia (SEMA KABAMAFATEK UMI) menggelar pemilihan Ketua Senat Keluarga Besar Mahasiswa Fakultas Teknik Universitas Muslim Indonesia ( KABAMAFATEK UMI) yang baru, di lantai tiga Fakultas Teknik Universitas Muslim Indonesia (FT-UMI) . Selasa (25/01/2022).
Pemilihan tersebut mengusung tema “Mewujudkan Demokrasi yang Transparansi dan Berintegritas”.
Onco selaku ketua Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) mengungkapkan pemilihan ini berjalan lancar yang dilaksanakan selama 5 hari yang dimulai pada tanggal 19-20 Januari pendaftaran, 20-21 Januari kampanye calon Ketua SEMA, pemilihan dan hasil pengumuman pada tanggal 24 Januari 2022.
”Cuman hanya 1 calon pendaftar calon ketua SEMA dan hanya 1 yang lolos verifikasi, maka di pemilihan umum langsung aklamasi,” ungkapnya.
Lebih lanjut, Onco menambahkan kendala yang dihadapi dalam pemilihan ketua SEMA FT UMI yaitu minimnya dana yang diberikan pihak fakultas dan kurangnya mahasiswa yang berada di kampus karena keadaan libur.
“Kendala yang kami hadapi yaitu kampus masih dalam keadaan libur jadi kami gunakan sosial media untuk sosialisasi, dan kendala selanjutnya kurangnya keuangan yang diberikan Wakil Dekan III,” lanjutnya.
Amrin sebagai formatur ketua SEMA, mengungkapkan bahwa terlepas dari kesenangan tetap menjalankan tugas dan tanggung jawab sebagai Ketua Senat KAMABAFATEK.
Ia juga menambahkan harapan terpilihnya sebagai ketua Senat KAMAFATEK ingin mededikasikan dirinya untuk mengambangkan Fakultas Teknik. Ia merasa bahwa Fakultas Teknik dapat memberikan manfaat apabila dikelola lebih baik lagi. Oleh karena itu, Amrin merancang beberapa program yang dianggap menjadi jawaban yang dibutuhkan dalam Fakultas Teknik.
”Harapan saya yang pertama sesuai vis i dan misi khususnya fakultas Teknik agar tidak ada lagi perpecahan yang hadir dan ruang diskusi yang sediakan lewat BEM. Dengan adanya lembaga kemahasiswaan ini saya juga berharap lembaga ini akan memfasilitasi dan membuka ruang pada teman-teman agar diskusi diskusinya lebih massif ke depannya,“ tambahnya.
Saifullah Syahadah selaku Demisioner ketua SEMA mengharapkan Ketua yang terpilih dapat menjalankan amanah sesuai dengan Aturan Dasar dan Anggaran Dasar Rumah Tangga.
”Harapan utama pasti untuk bisa mengemban amanat dan tetap menjaga tradisi dan budaya yang selama ini di pegang teguh dan di junjung tinggi semua mahasiswa Fakultas Teknik.” tutupnya.
