TEKPALA FT-UMI Selenggarakan Mountain Race Bertajuk Run and Enjoy The Culture

Makassar, CakrawalaIde.com – Teknik Pencinta Alam, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Muslim Indonesia (TEKPALA FT-UMI) Menyelenggarakan perhelatan event dua tahunan Mountain Race Competition bertajuk Run and Enjoy the Culture di Kabupaten Gowa hingga Takalar dengan mendatangkan Atlet pelari dari Provinsi Sulawasi Selatan dan Sulawesi Tenggara pada hari Minggu, 14-16 Oktober 2022.
Amrin, selaku ketua Senat Mahasiswa (SEMA) keluarga besar mahasiswa Fakutas Teknik (KABAMAFATEK) menjelaskan bahwa event dua tahunan ini berkolaborasi bersama dengan SEMA- KABAMAFATEK karena kegiatan ini merupakan salah satu event yang dapat mempromosikan FT- UMI.
“Kami ingin menunjukan bahwasanya sebagai anak Teknik kami juga dapat terlibat dalam kegiatan kegiatan yang identik dengan menjaga alam,” jelas Amrin.
Syaiful Syahada selaku ketua panitia dalam pembukaan event Mountain Race Competition mengutarakan bahwasanya event ini menjadi wadah untuk membangun silaturahmi dan solidaritas sesama pegiat olahraga lari gunung.
“Solidaritas dan silaturahim adalah yang terutama, juara hanyalah sebagai bonus,” katanya.
Nabila, salah satu peserta Mountain Race Competition dalam waktu senggangnya juga menceritakan pada awak Cakrawala Ide bahwa dia sangat antusias dalam mengikuti lomba kali ini selain mendapatkan pengalaman, relasi-relasi baru sesame pegiat alam juga didapatkannya.
“Senang dong, bukan cuma pengalaman banyak juga kenalan kenalan sama anak-anak pencinta alam dari luar Sulawesi Selatan,” ungkapnya.
Di tengah euphoria penerimaan hadiah Nurdin Saputro, salah satu finalis lomba juga membeberkan bahwasanya doa dan usaha merupakan kunci dari keberhasilannya.
“Yah berdoa saja sama terus latihan toh biar selain fisik, kita juga bisa dilindungi sama Allah,” katanya.
Nurdin juga mengutarakan bahwasanya semua orang adalah pemenang mereka memenangkan keindahan alam yang disajikan di sepanjang lintasan Mountain Race.
“Sebenarnya sejak di jalur tadi semua orang sudah menang karena kalau saya sendiri keindahan alam itu sudah cukup memuaskan,” tutup Nurdin.
