PPMI DK Makassar Gelar Aksi Solidaritas LPM Lintas

Makassar, Cakrawalaide.com- Merespons pembredelan Lembaga Pers Mahasiswa (LPM) Lintas oleh pihak birokrasi Insitut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Ambon, 12 Organ yang tergabung dalam Perhimpunan Pers Mahasiswa Indonesia (PPMI) Dewan Kota (DK) Makassar melakukan aksi sebgai bentuk solidaritas. Sabtu, (19/03/2022).
Berdasarkan kajian yang dirilis oleh PPMI Makassar, pembredelan LPM Lintas sebagai bentuk mematikan demokrasi dan nalar kritis mahasiswa di dalam kampus. Sikap seperti ini bukan hanya di IAIN Ambon saja tetapi terkait kasus ungkap kekerasan seksual semua sikap kampus modusnya sama, menjaga citra baiknya tanpa memedulikan nasib dari penyintas.
Muadz Muawaffaq Ihsan, kordinator PPMI Makassar menyampaikan bahwa, harapannya teman-teman LPM khusunya di kota Makassar lebih aktif lagi membangun jejaring karena pembredelan LPM di berbagai kampus bisa saja terjadi, juga mengawal pembredelan melalui aksi-aksi media.
“Saya berharap teman-teman LPM Makassar bisa lebih aktif lagi membangun jejaring karena tidak menutup kemungkinan kita juga suatu hari dibredel dan tentu kami akan tetap mengawal pembredelan ini dengan aksi-aksi media,” ucapnya.
Nunuk Parwati Songki, selaku ketua UPPM UMI Makassar menilai, dengan diungkapnya kasus kekerasan seksual di lingkup kampus seharusnya pihak birokrasi berinisiatif membentuk satgas sebagai bentuk tindak lanjut peraturan Pencegahan dan Penanggulangan Kekerasan Seksual Pada Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam (PTKI) dan Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Permendikbud) No. 30 Tahun 2021.
“Seharusnya mereka membentuk satgas sebagai wujud dari tanggung jawab kampus menindak lanjuti kedua peraturan tersebut, PTKI dan Permendikbud No. 30. Apalagi ini ada mi kasus. Malu dong, tidak ada SOP jelas bagaimana menangani kasus kekerasan seksual di dalam kampus,” tegasnya.
Nunuk Parwati Songki, juga menambahkan adanya kekerasan seksual di IAIN Ambon seharusnya mendorong kampus untuk fokus menyelesaikan kasusnya bukan fokus bekukan lembaganya.
“Seharusnya kampus fokus di kasusnya, bagaimana menyelesaikan kasus tersebut, bukan fokus di lembaga, apalagi sampai di bekukan,” tutupnya.
Terkait pembredelan LPM Lintas, Perhimpunan Pers Mahasiswa Indonesia (PPMI) Dewan Kota (DK) Makassar, melalui aksi solidaritas, menuntut:
1. Usut Tuntas Kasus Kekerasan Seksual yang terjadi di IAIN Ambon
2. Cabut SK Pembekuan LPM Lintas
