Lewat Car Free Day, ASP Beri Pemahaman Dampak Tambang Pasir Takalar dan Reklamasi Pesisir Makassar

Makassar, cakrawalaide.com– Aliansi Selamatkan Pesisir (ASP) kembali kampanyekan tolak reklamasi dan aktivitas penambangan pasir laut Takalar yang telah beroperasi sejak 2014.
Aksi tersebut digelar di depan R.S Stella Maris, Pantai Losari, Minggu (26/1/2020). Massa aksi membentangkan spanduk panjang bertuliskan “Stop Reklamasi dan Selamatkan Pesisir”, serta memasang spanduk untuk mengajak warga membubuhkan tandatangan sebagai bentuk petisi dukungan.
Akram, selaku Humas aksi menjelaskan setidaknya ada 43 Kepala Keluarga (KK) nelayan yang sebelumnya tinggal di atas Tanah Tumbuh [Delta] yang dikenal dengan sebutan ‘Gusung Tanah’ dan saat ini masih menetap 2 KK.
“Kalau misal kita lihat di bawah jembatan itu masih ada nelayan yang akan digusur, itu kalau nda salah dua KK, kalau singgahki di bawahnya itu jembatan, adami namanya Daeng Gassing sama Fendos,” jelas Akram.
Ia juga menerangkan bahwa aksi tersebut sebenarnya hanya ingin memulihkan kembali hak korban yang terdampak.
“Biasanya kita libatkan juga nelayan, tapi melihat waktu-waktu nelayan, biasa dari magrib (sampai pagi), jadi kita tidak libatkan,” tambahnya.
Abang, salah satu pengunjung Car Free Day (CFD) setelah mendengarkan penjelasan Akram, ia mengaku baru mengetahui persoalan tersebut. Selama ini anggapannya, proyek tersebut pasti memiliki dampak positif bagi masyarakat setempat.
“Setauku ini yang namanya reklamasi pasti ada hal positifnya juga untuk masyarakat, tapi kalau sudah merugikanmi masyarakat seperti ini toh, karena kuliat ini masyarakat, dari pemaparannya juga tadi ini kakak, katanya ini masyarakat kehilangan salah satu mata pencaharian, agak susah juga aksesnya dalam mencari ikan dan lain lain,” tutur mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Sosial UNM itu.
Adapun tuntutan nelayan Galesong Makassar dan Aliansi Selamatkan Pesisir yakni;
- Hentikan semua proyek reklamasi di kota Makassar;
- Segera batalkan semua permohonan izin lingkungan tambang di perairan Galesong;
- Pulihkan pesisir Makassar dan Galesong.
Selain itu, menurut pak Oga, juga salah satu pengunjung CFD, reklamasi ini merusak lingkungan dan merugikan warga sekitar, karena sebelumnya aktivitas mencari ikan [memancing] adalah salah satu mata pencaharian masyarakat. Namun setelah adanya proyek berjalan, semuanya berubah.
“Soalnya reklamasi ini merusak, orang sudah tidak bisa mancing ikan di sekitarnya, tidak bisa lagi melihat matahari terbenam karena semuanya tertutup gedung-gedung,” tutup Oga yang merupakan marbut di salah satu masjid.
