Kurasa, tak seorang pun pemimpin yang peduli dengan negeri ini
Negeri yang telah kau katakan merdeka ini
Kasihan, kasihan para rakyat-rakyat rendah yang dibodohi oleh para kaum berdasi.
Kaum intelektual, yang semakin mencekik kehidupan mereka.
Itu yang kau katakan merdeka? Bukan, bukan merdeka namanya kau sakiti rakyat negeri mu sendiri.
